Georg Friedrich Haas

Georg Friedrich Haas (August 16, 1953 in Graz) is an Austrian composer of spectral music. Haas' style recalls that of György Ligeti in its use of micropolyphony, microintervals and exploitation of the overtone series. He is a founding member of the Graz composers' collective Die andere Seite. He lives in Vienna and composes in a cottage in Fischbach, Styria.

Vinko Globokar(born July 7,1934)is a Slovenian composer and trombonist.
He was born in Anderny,France.
Between 1947 and 1955 he lived in Yugoslavia where he played jazz trombone.
He returned to France to study at the Paris Conservatoire (trombone 1955-1959 with Lafosse)and then he studied composition with Luciano Berio in Berlin(1965)before working with Karlheinz Stockhausen at the time of the recording of Aus den Sieben Tagen.

Gunther Schuller

Gunther Schuller (born November 22, 1925) is an American composer and horn player. He is regarded as one of the key figures in contemporary classical music. He studied at the Saint Thomas Choir School and became an accomplished horn player; at the age of seventeen he was principal hornist with the Cincinnati Symphony, and two years later took up a similar position with the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra. In 1959 he gave up performance to devote himself to composition. He has conducted internationally and studied and recorded jazz with such greats as Dizzy Gillespie, Miles Davis, and John Lewis.

Burroughs, as well as the emerging confluence of industrial music, and funk. 23 Skidoo was formed in North London, UK in 1979 as a post-punk trio. By 1980 they had grown into a quartet consisting of Fritz Catlin, Johnny Turnbull, Sam Mills and Patrick Griffiths.

Norm Skipp is a NZ/UK composer/sonic artist, video artist and online editor/compositor based in Manchester, UK He creates innovative sound and visual compositions often in collaboration with a diverse range of artists. He completed a Music degree (composition) in New Zealand in 1994 studying with Jack Body, Ross Harris, John Elmsly and John Rimmer. In 2007, while in residence at the Centre Création Musicale Iannis Xenakis (CCMIX) in Paris, he studied with Gérard Pape, Jean-Claude Risset, Trevor Wishart, Curtis Roads, Harry Halbreich, Agostino Di Scipio and Makis Solomos.

James "Blood" Ulmer (born February 2, 1942 in St. Matthews, South Carolina) is an American avant-garde and and . Ulmer's distinctive guitar sound has been described as "jagged" and "stinging." His singing has been called "raggedly soulful." Ulmer began his career playing with various ensembles, and first recorded with organist John Patton in 1969. After moving to New York in 1971, Ulmer played with Art Blakey & The Jazz Messengers, Joe Henderson, Paul Bley, Rashied Ali and Larry Young.

Actively performing in New York City since 2004, she has been named “Best New Talent” by All About Jazz New York, while Time Out New York identified her from a small pool of suspects as “the Juilliard-trained violist who’s been tearing up the scene”.
