Death Defying Life

Death Defying Life formed back in 2003 and rapidly became a well known name around York, playing fresh sounding flat-out punk rock at every available opportunity and venue, all across the UK. In 2004 they took it upon themselves to organise a West Coast US tour, playing shows from Bellingham to San Francisco, including a Fat Wreck Chords show with punk band Western Addiction.
On return, bassist Jonah called it a day and left Death Defying Life.

SjW is a British rock group formed in Berkshire in 2005, who's music encorporates elements of traditional, classic and stadium rock. The bands sound is firmly entrenched in the traditions of acts and super groups such as Led Zeppelin, The Who and Queen with a tip of the hat to the great power trio's Rush, Cream, The Police, Kings X & Hendrix. SjW play music from a time when rock was rock and the super group was king, combining classic rock style with a fresh and up to date sound, often referencing from where it came without ever taking a backwards step.

Knife Fight

There are two artists using the name Knife Fight (1) Knife Fight was a fast hardcore band from Southern California. None of the other KF's ever put anything out, so they don't count. Never one to shy away from wearing their influences on their sleeves, you can hear heisted riffs and lyrics from bands such as Negative Approach, America's Hardcore, Straight Ahead, Rudimentary Peni, Voorhees/Shark Attack/F.U.'s/Deathreat, Battalion of Saints, and apparantly Lack Of Interest. Urgent Blood

URGENT BLOOD were a band that existed for four months in Melbourne, Australia who played a lot of shows, went through over 10 members, did some radio sessions, got a signifigant amount of national radio airplay, stickered a lot of melbourne, released 500 DIY CDRs, made a music video, put out a 7" a day before they split up and played the bar next door 10 minutes after their last show. Danny got deported back to Scotland and now plays in Cleavers and Jamie and Rob play in Old Skin.

Belvedere

Belvedere was a canadian / band formed in 1995. Originally not meant to play a show, they gained a cult following in Canada's scene. Known for their blazing speed and vocals, the band also appeared on the Warped Tour and Groezrock Festival bills.
Taking their name from the '80s sitcom, Belvedere began in Calgary, Alberta, Canada in 1995 as the three-piece of Steve Rawles (guitar/vocals), Brock (bass), and Dan Hrynuik (drums).
