Believe it or not, things used to be different. People used to start punk bands because they wanted to have fun, not because they needed a vehicle to get their faces on the covers of magazines. Artists used to tour to meet new people, not to sell products in various "markets." Above all, especially in the punk scene, bands in the past didn't believe in a division between themselves and their fans because at the end of the day they knew we were all the same.

Friends With The Enemy are a fast melodic punk band from the Gold Coast, Australia. Formed in Oct 2009, FWTE released their debut EP 'New World DisOrder' in Sept 2010, followed by a tour in America, with shows supporting Guttermouth and Versus The World. Also supporting Guttermouth in their recent tour of Australia. In February 2011 Friends With The Enemy won Triple J’s Unearthed competition to play Soundwave Festival, sharing the stage with Iron Maiden, Pennywise, Social Distortion, Millencolin, New Found Glory, Sum 41, and many more..

Heartsounds

Heartsounds came into being after the demise of Light This City, when Ben Murray and Laura Nichol decided to pursue their passion for punk rock by writing and recording a full length record consisting of 12 fast and melodic tracks, entitled Until We Surrender. Ben and Laura once again returned to Light This City producer, Zack Ohren for the recording, mixing and mastering of the record. Until We Surrender saw a release in late August 2009 on gatefold vinyl and digipak CD, through Ben's label, Creator-Destructor Records.

Atlas Losing Grip

In 2005, when the melodic punk-scene in Sweden was almost completely dead, they appeared.
Atlas Losing Grip rose from the ashes and their debut-album "Shut the World Out" took them touring around Europe. Satanic Surfers lead singer and frontman Rodrigo Alfaro, who had appeared as a guest vocalist on the debut-album, was recruited in 2008.
Things fell into place and the group was completed.
As a five-piece they recorded the MCD îWatching the Horizonî. The result? Five brilliant tracks. And for the first time in a years, Swedish punk rock felt alive and real.

Forming in 1998, STR were a powerhouse that blended punk rock, pop punk and hardcore with a devout Christian theme. Their latest release is "Hopes For Hire" and they disbanded in 2005 to pursue other projects.

High Five Drive finished off 2009 with the Japanese release of “Fullblast”, their latest record. Days later it’s 2010 and HFD is on an eight show tour in the USA.
