Broken Spindles is the brainchild of Joel Petersen of Omaha, Nebraska. He is in other Saddle Creek bands, playing bass guitar in The Faint and Beep Beep. The music is mostly instrumental with minimal vocals which Petersen sings. It originally started in 2001 as the soundtrack for a friend's film. It developed into a solo project with the first release in 2002 on Tiger Style Records. In between touring with The Faint and Beep Beep, Petersen found time to write music for Broken Spindles. The song, "Song No Song," from fulfilled/complete was used in a car commercial for Lexus

Gaby Amarantos is a singer and dancer from the city of Belém, in the northern state of Pará and comes from a family of Samba dancers. She's recorded a few CDs, a DVD, has been featured in newspapers and magazines and has made several appearances on Brazilian television shows. Her music sounds like a mashup of 90s Euro rave, moombahton, cumbia, and the kind of Hispanic electro-pop you hear in discos on holiday when you're out of your mind on budget cocktails. Like Gloria Estefan with techno knobs on – or rather, Glozzer in a clinch with Technotronic.

Ziggy Newman (Better known in the music world as Zonic) was born in 1989 in Peterborough, cambridgeshire. She began her musical career at a very early age writing songs to the tunes of retro Sega Megadrive games. Some of which she has produced full remixes of on her myspace which can be found here. www.myspace.com/zonictheelectronic. Since then she has gone on to study music at City University London as well as having vocal training from the Guildhall School Of Music and Drama.
