Lightyear

Lightyear were a hugely popular ska punk band who blended elements of ska, pop, hardcore, punk and occaisionally hip hop who were probably best known for their intense live shows that regulaly saw members of the band (and unfortunately crowd) getting naked. Hailing from Derby and previously split up, they reformed briefly for the summer of 2006 in which they played a whirlwind UK tour which included both the Reading and Leeds carling festivals.

thisfamiliarsmile are an emo rock band from Glasgow, UK. Their music is full of irregular timings, complex structures and yet manages to be cohesive and melodic. They make emotive music reminiscent of a more accessible mid-late 90’s emo(Sunny Day Real Estate, Get Up Kids) mixed with elements of post-hardcore. The band formed in 2005 and shortly after featured on Fierce Panda records with their track 'Plagiarism is the New Theft' appearing on their ‘Glowing Underground’ 7 inch release.

Belvedere

Belvedere was a canadian / band formed in 1995. Originally not meant to play a show, they gained a cult following in Canada's scene. Known for their blazing speed and vocals, the band also appeared on the Warped Tour and Groezrock Festival bills.
Taking their name from the '80s sitcom, Belvedere began in Calgary, Alberta, Canada in 1995 as the three-piece of Steve Rawles (guitar/vocals), Brock (bass), and Dan Hrynuik (drums).

Frenzal Rhomb is an Australian rock band that formed in 1992, in Sydney, Australia. A long-standing institution in Sydney music scene but with a national and international base of fans, Frenzal have consistently nurtured new generations of young fans through endless touring, festival appearances and all ages shows. With a sound that is most often characterized as 'California pop/punk', the band is overtly left-wing political and known for their humorous, savage and insightful lyrics.
