1) Phantoms are a new Sydney hardcore band featuring ex-members of Rex Banner, Jack Napier and Rowan of Bury Your Dead 2)Seattle-based rock band, phantoms, was born in June of 2009, when singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer, Johnny (25), formerly singer/songwriter for Dating Delilah, decided it was time to abandon the power-struggle that came with collaborative songwriting within a band framework. Weary of egos, and indecision, Johnny decided to start a project in which he could express exactly what he heard in his own mind, heart and soul.
On their sophomore release the Melbourne conglomerate that is IN TRENCHES returns a reworked, more advanced and specifically intensified beast. Without diverting from their overall dissonance and rhythmically complex approach, Sol Obscura sees the band having ventured deeper into heavy dirges and progressive compositions and returned with stunning results. Giant walls of guitar noise reach into the human psyche, with output flowing over 27 minutes across 5 unique tracks.

After the breakup of Supercar, he went on to work on various other projects including Nyantora and iLL. With iLL, he has also worked with contemporary Japanese artist Naohiro Ukawa. 2) ill is a hard rock band from Atlanta, Georgia that plays a heavy blend of rock, blues, industrial, and punk. ill released the album Down In Deep in 2009, and released a self-titled EP in 2010.
