Arcturus

Arcturus is an band from Oslo, Norway featuring many prominent members of the Norwegian black metal scene from bands such as Ulver, Dimmu Borgir, Mayhem, Borknagar, The Kovenant, Emperor, and Winds. Arcturus have experimented throughout their career, extracting influences and incorporating elements from all over the musical spectrum including black metal and classical music, but the core of their sound has always been metal.

Negura Bunget

This is an incorrect tag for Negură Bunget. Negură Bunget is a black metal band from Timişoara, Romania. The name is taken from archaic Romanian meaning 'Forest in the Mist'.
They combine Romanian history and folklore into a mystical adventure, quite literally inspired by their homeland, Transylvania. Formed in 1995 by Hupogrammos Disciple's (vocals, guitar, keyboards) and Negru (drums, xylophone) under the name Wiccan Rede, the group recorded their first demo...

This name refers to more than one artist. 1. GNOME (Japan) is a quite notorious one man Black Metal endeavour of Masanori. A split cassette, 'Story - Legendary Japanese Wolves' shared with NYARLATHOTEP, was issued in 1999 on the Weird Truth Productions label. The music of Gnome has been described as dark nature metal with hysteric extremely high screams, fantasic and intense drivin' melodies/riffs and running bass.

1) NoGoD (Previously known as 新興宗教楽団NoGoD) is a with style band formed in 2005 in Tokyo, Japan. The band consist of 団長 (Danchou, Vocals), Kyrie (Guitar), Shinno (Guitar), 華凛 (Karin, Bass) and K (Drums). Since 2010, they have a major-contract on KING RECORDS. During their Indies-era on ART POP ENTERTAINMENT, they released 2 studio-albums ("夢幻教" in 2008 and "極彩色" in 2009), 2 mini-albums and 10 singles. Their major debut on KING RECORDS was their single "カクセイ" (Kakusei) released on June 9th, 2010.

Valhalla

There are many bands under the name of Valhalla, 10 of them are metal. 1) The best known Valhalla hails from Petrozavodsk, Rusland and has released one album under the name of "Hail To The Fallen Majesty" in 2003. 2) There is another Valhalla originating from Bedfordshire in England from 1979 playing progressive metal. They had two national single releases on the NEAT records label, "Coming Home" and the double A sides of "Jack" and "Still in Love with You" together with tracks on the compilation album sponsored by the popular music paper SOUNDS.

Manes

Manes started around the end of 1992/early 93. It started as a project with Sargatanas on vocals and Cern on guitars, synths, programming etc. – basically everything besides the vocals. With that line-up Manes recorded the three demos „Maanens natt” (93), „Ned i stillheten” (94) and „Til kongens grav de døde vandrer” (95). The two first demos was later re-released by the Hammerheart Records sub-label „Unveiling the Wicked” in 98.

Kontinuum

1) Kontinuum Icelandic Ambient Metal
Kontinuum started as the brainchild of Birgir Thorgeirsson, a founding and current member of dark metal act Potentiam. The seed of Kontinuum started way back in 2001 when Birgir teamed up with former Potentiam drummer Kristjan Heidarsson to record an EP called Burned and Battered under the band name Pornea. This was an experimental metal project mixing doom with punk and dark atmospheric metal.

Gorath

From the ashes of chaos rises Gorath… Set ablaze by F. Dupont as a one man project from 1995 apart from other main underground chapters already closed. The first winters were a try out and 1996 brought forth a worthless tape “A winter slavery” that would never see the light of day. Gorath’s cold black metal is highly influenced by older Norwegian acts like Ulver, Arcturus, Fleurety, Enslaved, Darkthrone, etc.
