Quartz
There is more than one artist called Quartz. 1) Quartz came out of the British hard rock hotbed of Birmingham to join the New Wave of British Heavy Metal movement in the late '70s. With a lineup that included John Bonham-associate Mike Hopkins and future Black Sabbath keyboardist Geoff Nichols, they were actually founded under the name Bandylegs but changed when Jet Records showed interest in the band.

There is more than one Lockjaw: 1) Lockjaw was formed in Portland, Oregon around 1980 by Del Murry (guitar), Tony Arcudi (vocals), Eric Couch (bass), and Rob Parker (drums)... the band played clubs like The Met, 13th Precinct, and the Satyricon in the early days. By 1984 drummer Rob Parker was replaced with Jeremy J., and guitarist Garrett Garitano was added to the lineup. By that time Lockjaw was labeled "Portland's most hated band."

Apparently, they recorded two new tracks (presumably live) from 2007-2008, and played a concert in Moscow during this time. Monstrously huge, expansive Doom/Death Metal, with a heavy emphasis on the Doom.

SL2 aka DJs Slipmatt & Lime aka Matt Nelson & John Fernandez are one of the biggest original early rave names in the business, and they are still going strong. They have performed all over the world in front of crowds up to 100,000 people, playing all the major raves in the early nineties and also spinning the decks across every continent and all over the UK.
Mdc
MDC (Millions of Dead Cops) is a United States hardcore punk band formed in Austin, Texas in 1979, subsequently based in San Francisco, California, and currently based in Portland, Oregon. MDC originally formed as The Stains before changing their name. Playing high-speed punk rock associated with far-left sociopolitical issues has earned the band close association with Jello Biafra and the Dead Kennedys, as well as numerous other US punk bands of the early eighties. The band also frequently changed their name to a different initialism of MDC.

Rayan Gee, Nick Slater and LANX (Kevin Lancaster) are from Peterborough, England. Were popular on the rave scene in 1989 with several singles from their self pressed album "Frequency" reaching the UK charts.
