Q Project
Q Project (Jason Greenhalgh) is a drum and bass music producer. He makes up half of Total Science, along with fellow producer Paul Smith (who produces under the name Spinback). He is well known for his release "Champion Sound", a popular jungle anthem of the 1990s.
Cloud 9
There are several artists using the name "Cloud 9." 1. Cloud 9 is the alias used by drum and bass artist Nookie a.k.a. Gavin Cheung (Discography) 2. Cloud 9 is a hip-hop band from Long Island/Monroe.
3. Nujazz Project on Acid Jazz Records, they did one album in 1993 called 'Millenium', it was produced by Mark Brydon who later formed Moloko together with singer Róisín Murphy 4. There is also an Austrian artist performing under this name. Sounds a bit like Elliott Smith. 5. Cloud 9 is an A Capella group operating out of University of California, Santa Cruz.
Oaysis
A short lived jungle/rave act comprised of J. Harvey, D. Hopkins & I. Warburton, from 1992 til 1996. They did not release any albums, but did have a few EPs and 12" records, and were featured on compilation albums. Also refered to as 'Oasis'
Defender
There are multiple artists with this name: 1) Defender is a House band from France. This is a one-time collaboration between Alan Braxe, Fred Falke, and Savage. They've released only one mini-EP, called Defender, in 2005 on Vulture Music. It also appears to be the most successful Defender on last.fm. 2) Defender is a Chicago based band. The brainchild of childhood friends Jorge Ledezma (guitars, keyboards) and Gabi Meszaros (bass, keyboards) who began making home recordings and sound collages in the early 90's.
Floorpunch
Floorpunch was a straight edge hardcore band from New Jersey. Spearheaded the 1997 youth crew hardcore punk revival with In My Eyes and Ten Yard Fight.
Rozalla
Rozalla (born Rozalla Miller on March 18, 1964 in Ndola, Zambia) is a female Pop/Soul/Dance music performer from Zimbabwe. She is best known for her 1991 hit Everybody's Free (To Feel Good). Her subsequent club success has earned her the title "Queen of Rave". Rozalla first came on the scene in the 1980s in Zimbabwe, the country she had moved to from her birth country. Her singles charted well in the area and english producer Christopher Sergeant took her to London in 1988. She later started living there and Christopher became her manager.
Victim
There are at least seven bands with this name. 1. Victim is a hardcore band out of Virginia Beach, Virginia.
They formed in 2002 but their final show was held in 2008. 2. Victim was a punk band formed in 1977 in Belfast, Ireland that later relocated to Manchester, England in 1979. They disbanded in 1986.
("Victim" is not the same band as "The Victims", which was a punk band from Western Australia active from 1977-79.)
