Kicks Like A Mule is a rave/electronic music duo consisting of Richard Russell and Nick Halkes. Their first single "The Bouncer" was a Top 10 hit in the UK Singles Chart when it was released in 1992. Although both Halkes and Russell worked at the XL Recordings label at the time of the single's release (XL being run by Russell to this day), it was released on Rebel MC’s independent Tribal Bass label.
MDC (Millions of Dead Cops) is a United States hardcore punk band formed in Austin, Texas in 1979, subsequently based in San Francisco, California, and currently based in Portland, Oregon. MDC originally formed as The Stains before changing their name. Playing high-speed punk rock associated with far-left sociopolitical issues has earned the band close association with Jello Biafra and the Dead Kennedys, as well as numerous other US punk bands of the early eighties. The band also frequently changed their name to a different initialism of MDC.
A hardcore band from South London, formed in January 2012. The band so far have an EP, called 'A Lesson In Personal Finance'.

The EP is a true story about a headteacher from the band's school, who was murdered by a rentboy he owed money to. The band also did a demo in Jan 2012 called 'Midnight In The Bellagio'.

Featuring members Dan (Vocals), Nick (Drums), Alex (Guitar), Haroun (Guitar), and Derek (Bass). They recently released their 2nd full length, "Dedicated to Babies Who Came Feet First" on Deathwish Inc. Earlier line-ups included Brad 'Bad Kid' Zielen, Dave Foster, and Will Atkin. There is one band called DYS and one band called Dys. Last.Fm mixes them up: 1.) Formed at ground zero of Boston's legendary straight edge hardcore scene, DYS, stood for "Department of Youth Services" but they jokingly told everyone it stood for "Dave You Suck".
They rose out of SS Decontrol's Boston Crew, going on to help establish the city as a center of the movement along with Negative FX and Last Rights.
There are multiple artists with this name: 1) Defender is a House band from France. This is a one-time collaboration between Alan Braxe, Fred Falke, and Savage. They've released only one mini-EP, called Defender, in 2005 on Vulture Music. It also appears to be the most successful Defender on last.fm. 2) Defender is a Chicago based band. The brainchild of childhood friends Jorge Ledezma (guitars, keyboards) and Gabi Meszaros (bass, keyboards) who began making home recordings and sound collages in the early 90's.
Negative Approach is an American hardcore punk band. They are considered one of the pioneers of hardcore punk, along with bands like Minor Threat, Bad Brains and Black Flag. Formed in Detroit, Michigan, Negative Approach existed from 1981-1984, and now again from 2006-present. Like most hardcore bands, they were little known in their day outside of their hometown. They are now idolized in the Detroit underground and the punk subculture, considered to be one of the elite bands of the

Poison Idea was formed in 1980 in Portland, OR by vocalist Jerry A. (aka Jerry Lang). The initial lineup consisted of Jerry A., Tom “Pig Champion” Roberts (guitar), Glen Estes (bass), and Dean Johnson (drums). Inspired by Black Flag and other early Southern California hardcore acts, they were further influenced by Discharge and Los Angeles's the Germs. Germs singer Darby Crash was a strong influence on singer Jerry A.—vocally, lyrically, and philosophically—was monumental, and Poison Idea followed the Germs’ extremist punk ethic.
