Cat Fire Radio

Electro. Dance. Math. Rock. We are electrodancemathrock. Three-piece music makers from Brighton. We make electronic math rock that you can dance to. Music is a primal instinct that resides within us all. It liberates us and it unites us. It is not conformity. It is not competition. It is not an outlet for repressed vitriol and it is not elitist beard-stroking observationism of conveyor belt culture. It is one of the greatest things we have.

The Baghdaddies

The Baghdaddies have, quite aptly, been described as "an eclectic mish-mash of musical merriment, an ideal accompaniment to dancing, drinking, partying and shopping." (baghdaddies.com) Since forming in 1996, this 5-piece band based in Newcastle-upon-Tyne have trod the boards of many a village hall, street, and festival stage everywhere from the 'Toon' itself to Poland, Switzerland, and Threlkeld.

La Caravane Passe

The band was formed in 2001 by Toma Feterman, who has ancestors of Polish, Rumanian and Jewish Russian origins. A self taught multi-instrumentalist, Toma sings as well as playing the banjo and the trumpet. After initially performing music that covers a wide range from punk to French “chanson”, he decides to gather a group to perform music from Eastern Europe - a way of returning to his roots. At the beginning, the musicians were friends that played traditional songs.

Mikelangelo & the Black Sea Gentlemen

Since forming in 2000, Mikelangelo And The Black Sea Gentlemen have been gathering accolades for their superlative, part fairy-tale, part cabaret, part cautionary huckstering live performance. Playing a number of festivals worldwide – including the Edinburgh Fringe Festival – they’ve honed their approach and reeled in punters with an ear for the more curiously strait-laced (in a completely Victorian, bodices-and-waistcoats kind of way) side of the gypsy-folk spectrum
