Will the Sun Ever Rise(2004), a three-track EP of unrelenting atmosphere, aggression and complexity. The EP was embraced by metal heads and journalists alike.
There are three bands with the name Antlers. 1)Antlers are comprised of a group of Richmond/DC musicians from bands such as Mass Movement of the Moth, Gregor Samsa, Resonance, and Olive Tree. The band plays melodic primarily instrumental mathy tunes that might remind you of bands like Don Cab, Ghost and Vodka, and June of 44. 2)A punk/grind band from seattle, Washington. Planned to release a split 10" with YCAD. Only did one tour but got a lot of attention sadly broke up after.
Cult of Luna are a Swedish Sludge/Post-Metal band formed in 1998 in Umeå, Sweden by guitarist/vocalist Johannes Persson and vocalist Klas Rydberg. After some member hunting and rehearsals CoL had its first line-up consisting of: Klas Rydberg, Johannes Persson, Magnus Lindberg, Erik Olofsson and Fredrik Renstrom. After a short period of time, Fredrik had to leave due to some personal difficulties.

Naked City was an avant-garde music group from New York City, New York, United States led by saxophonist and composer John Zorn, performed from 1988 to 1993. The ensemble was notable for remaining unconfined to any musical category, juxtaposing unrelated styles of music often within individual compositions at breakneck speed. Its music incorporated recognizable elements of jazz, grindcore, surf, classical, thrash, country music, punk rock and other genres. Carl Stalling has been cited as an influence on Zorn and the work of Naked City.

Bethlehem is a dark metal band from Grevenbroich, Germany, formed in 1991 by Jürgen Bartsch and Kläus Matton. Before begetting Bethlehem, Bartsch and Matton used to play in a German Thrash metal band called Morbid Vision. Much of the themes in their lyrics revolve around sickness, morbidity, suicide, death and madness that may to some extent be personal to the band, though they are very difficult to understand even for German speakers because they make absolutely no sense whatsoever.

Blindead was founded in Gdynia, Poland in 1999 by Michal Zimorski (Zima) - bass and Mateusz Smierzchalski (Havoc) - guitar. Few months later, Marek Zielinski (Deadman) - guitar, Konrad Ciesielski - drums and Patryk Adamczyk - vocals, joined the band. It was a casual project made for pleasure rather than a professional band. Besides, in the same time, Havoc became the guitarist of Behemoth and it was his priority.
