Victor Wooten

Victor Wooten redefines the word musician. Regaled as the most influential bassist since Jaco Pastorius, Victor is known for his solo recordings and tours, and as a member of the Grammy-winning supergroup, Béla Fleck & The Flecktones. He is an innovator on the bass guitar, as well as a talented composer, arranger, producer, vocalist and multi-instrumentalist. But those gifts only begin to tell the tale of this Tennessee titan.

Penguin Cafe Orchestra

The Penguin Cafe Orchestra was a loose assembly of various musicians headed by classically-trained guitarist, composer and arranger Simon Jeffes (Sussex, England, 1949-1997). Only Jeffes and cellist co-founder Helen Liebmann were core members and other musicians were drafted for the requirements of particular pieces or performances. Their sound is not easy to categorise but has elements of exuberant folk music mixed with the minimalist, repetitive composition of Philip Glass.

Greg Packer

From Gregs Myspace: Greg began Dj-ing in 1989 at the age of 17 shortly after emigrating to Perth Western Australia from Northampton England, he had been a heavy collector of vinyl since 1982 and since he already had a collection of 1000+ he decided it was time to purchase some decks and get seriously into dj-ing. The music Greg was collecting in the 80's was mainly hip hop, electro, soul & funk and a bit of reggae/dub, when he began mixing it was strictly hip hop until late 1990 when Greg was taken to a club in Perth called Limbo's and heard a Dj 'Dave Jackson' spin some early house...

Mt.

Mt. was formed from the rubble of ctrlaltdelete and, like all geological formations, the band have changed considerably over time. The current line-up consists of brothers Ben and Joe Maxwell, along with Andy Harvey. Another comparison that can be drawn between geological formations and Mt. is the speed they have progressed; two years after the debut album Lethologica, the band are finally gearing up to release new E.P. ‘Teach Your Children How To Think, Not What To Think’, (recorded by Nic Jay at Fisher Street Studios and mastered by Aereogramme's Iain Cook) and have returned to the stage.
