There are three bands using this name: 1) STARSEED Starseed are one of London and South Africa’s best-kept-secrets. This hard-rock quintet has been working steadily in various guises from their inception in Johannesburg, South Africa in the year 2000, to their decision to move to foggy London Town in October 2001, to their current position as a resident and active band in Richmond, Surrey in 2007 after five years abroad. Originally a four-piece band, the band has seen a few lineup shifts but has retained its founding members, brothers Andrew and Russell Spence.

Incorporating blisteringly fast guitar riffs, machine-like drumming, groovy bass lines, searing leads, and hard-hitting vocals, HAVOK is able to maintain that *punch-you-in-the-throat* style of music.

Pyrexia is an extreme death metal band from New York.In 2001, the entire then-current lineup teamed up with ex-Obituary guitarist Trevor Peres to form Catastrophic. After an album was recorded, Chris Basile (the one constant Pyrexia member throughout their career) left that band, and has since recruited an all-new Pyrexia lineup. A new CD, Cruelty Beyond Submission, featuring eight remastered older tunes and three brand-new ones) was released in 2004.

There are multiple artists with this name: 1) Element is a technical death metal band from USA. They formed in 2004 and have released their debut full-length album "Aeons Past" in January 2007 on Brutal Bands. 2) Element were a post hardcore/emo band from Northern Ireland. The track 'Wake From This' was featured on the third Deep Elm 'This Is Indie Rock' compilation. 3) Element is 60's psychedelic rock band.

1.) Dutch Death Metal band XENOMORPH was founded in 1992 emerging from the underground scene in The Netherlands. Their most steady line-up became: DeTombe (vocals), Coert Zwart (guitar), Kreft (guitar), JRA (bass) and Marc Bomber (drums). They most likely got their name from the "scientific" predicate given to the aliens starring in the Aliens movie series. Their lyrics are mostly about evil, Satan, and other dark and occult stuff more than once inspired by the work of artists like H.R. Giger and Sir Ridley Scott.

1. BENEATH is an Icelandic death metal band that was formed during the winter of 2007/2008. After a few minor changes, the current line-up was finalized in November 2008. The members of BENEATH have all been active in the Icelandic metal scene for some years and some current and former bands include Sororicide, Changer, Atrum and Diabolus to name a few. The band set out to play fast technical deathmetal, but the band incorporated elements from older styles of death metal, as well as other genres such as blackmetal.

Revenance is a from New York formed in 2002. , they have a self released EP "All Shall Suffer" released in 2003 and a second EP called "Somebody Kill Something", in 2004, which lead to them signing to a label. Their debut full-length album "Omen Of Tragedy" was released by Permeated Records in 2006. Alternatively, there is another band called Revenance hailing from Barnsley, England. They play melodic, catchy death metal and after releasing their first album in 2006, they are set to bring out a new record in 2009, recording with the prestigious producer, Jason Sanderson.

Immolation

Immolation is a death metal band from Yonkers, New York. They were formed in 1986 as Rigor Mortis. The name was changed to Immolation in late 1987, between the "Warriors of Doom" demo which was done as Rigor Mortis and "Demo I" which was done as Immolation. The band got a deal with Roadrunner Records and released their debut album Dawn of Possession through them. They were dropped by the label when the label dropped nearly all of the death metal bands. Later, they were picked up by Metal Blade Records and released the three succeeding albums through them.
