Formed in 1985, Bay Area band Insanity were instrumental in metal's evolution from thrash to death metal. Drummer Bud Mills was a big reason why, as his so-called "1-1" beat presaged the modern blastbeat. The band's sound more than lived up to its name. Not only did it crank thrash up to frenzied warp speeds, it also displayed chops well ahead of its time. Insanity were legendary worldwide in the '80s metal tape trading circuit, with members of Carcass and Napalm Death citing them as an influence.
Septycal Gorge is a brutal death metal from Italy. They formed in summer 2004 by Diego (Guitars) and Mariano (Vocals), after a week Dave (Drums) joined. However, there were alot of changes in the coming months and year, with Alex, Giampaolo, Damien all showing their time in the bass position and Marco (Guitars). Then the line up finally found stability with Dario (Guitars), Maurizio (Bass), Diego (Guitars) and Mariano (Vocals).

Porkfarm are a brutal death metal band from Malvern, UK. Ex Deo is a Canadian metal band formed in 2008 in Montreal, Quebec, a new Roman themed death metal group led by Maurizio Iacono (Kataklysm) released their debut album Romulus to the world on June 19, 2009 (Europe) and June 30, 2009 (North America) via Nuclear Blast Records. The album was recorded with producer (and Kataklysm guitarist) Jean-Francois Dagenais (Misery Index, Despised Icon, Malevolent Creation).
Corpus Mortale was formed in early 1993. From the beginning the intention was to play pure and aggressive death metal. In the early years the band received great recognition in the underground through the demo’s “Corpus Mortale” 1995 and “Integration” 1996 and also through numerous successful concerts in Denmark and Germany.
In 1999, only five months after recording the third demo “Spiritim” 1998, both of the guitar players left the band.
KATALEPSY was born in 2004 in Moscow then forefathers played death metal in the other bands and decided to do something new. The first demo FEMICIDE brought the first victims to the altar of brutality. KATALEPSY became stronger and began to foray outside Moscow.
In 2007 they gave birth to their debut full-length MUSICK BRINGS INJURIES and the blood was spilled in the circle pits and mosh-battles all over Russia.
