Covenance is a death metal band hailing from Annapolis, Maryland, United States. The group was formed in March 2005, and released their debut 7" entitled "Ravaging the Pristine" later the same year. Featuring ex-members of Dying Fetus, Misery Index and Cryptopsy, the band is expected to put out an all-new release in early 2007 followed by extensive touring.

Gorgasm is a brutal death metal band from Chicago, illinois. They released three albums and are well known for their shocking cover art and explicit lyrics dealing with controversial things such as coprophilia, necrophilia, mutilation, sodomy, murder, sex and any combination of these. Their recent album, Masticate to Dominate, was apparently telling a tale from the eyes of a sadistic, psychopathic, serial killing necrophile.

Blood Red Throne

Blood Red Throne started in Kristiansand, Norway in 1998 when Død and Tchort (while playing in Satyricon at that time), decided to form their own band and show their passion for death metal. Tchort had been playing death metal since 1989 with his band Green Carnation, which was one of the first death metal bands in norway, and Død had been a huge fan and of the genre since 1992 . Tchort was also the bass player in Emperor in the early 90's and has been involved with bands like Carpathian Forest and Einherjer.

There are multiple artists with this name: 1) Nile is a technical death metal band from USA. They formed in their hometown of Greenville, SC, in 1993, combine extreme speed and brutality of modern death metal with the ancient styling of Middle Eastern music. With their self-proclaimed trademark of "Ithyphallic Metal", Karl Sanders (guitar/vocals), Chief Spires (bass/vocals), and Pete Hammoura(drums) debuted with their Festivals of Atonement album in 1995, leading Nile to a southwestern tour in support of other big metal acts such as Obituary, Deicide and Broken Hope.

Drottnar is bizarre; orthodox bedlam skillfully crafted through cutting- edge unorthodoxy. The totality of the concept compels beyond what trends or external preferences will ever decide. Conceived through a series of deeply vested intentions and ideals, Drottnar was proudly established in 1997. The bandmembers' previous relationship to death metal evolved in patterns of fierceness, slightly changing into a more extreme taste.

Psycroptic

Psycroptic is a technical death metal band from Hobart, Australia. The band is currently signed to Nuclear Blast and has so far released four full length albums. They formed in 1999 by brothers Dave (drums) and Joe (guitar) Haley who had previously been involved in a band called Disseminate. That group had recorded a demo in 1998 before disbanding. Shortly afterward, the Haleys created Psycroptic with Cameron Grant on bass and vocalist Matthew Chalk, who soon after became a drummer with established local death metal act M.

Hailing from the border north east of Victoria (Albury/Wodonga),Australia. Demonic Tempest are a 5 piece brutal melodic thrash/death metal outfit. Started in mid 2006, the band made their first public performance in June, and has since brought their unique sound and energy to various shows around the area. The 'hybrid' band consist of some of the most well know metal musicians from the region. Alex, Sam and Rhys formerly from well known border band 'Newskin', Tom formerly from hardcore/metal act 'Seraphyn', and Daniel a close friend and fellow metaler of the band.
