Patrick Best Psychedelic noise/drone/folk band from Richmond, Virginia. They play dense, large-scale pieces of music that radiate inner warmth. They are influenced by Indian raga, the American primitivism of John Fahey, minimalism, and noise music.

Harry Manx is a musician who blends blues, folk, and hindustani classical music. Born on the Isle of Man and raised in Ontario, he is currently living on Saltspring Island, BC, Canada. He plays slide guitar, harmonica, six-string banjo, cigar-box guitar and the Mohan Veena (a 20-stringed guitar/sitar hybrid). He studied for five years in India with Vishwa Mohan Bhatt. Born in Kolkata (Calcutta) in 1963, Debashish Bhattacharya began learning classical Indian music from his parents in his childhood, and went on to a groundbreaking career. His invention, the 24-string Hindustani slide guitar, was modified from the Western guitar to create an entirely new instrument that is nevertheless faithful to the classical Indian tradition. Bhattacharya has collaborated with the American slide guitarist Bob Brozman and the jazz-fusion artist John McLaughlin of Shakti.
Sound system established in Lodz in 2001, the crew is two dj's - MMF & Funksion. Except playing on the gigs they also record mixtapes and produce their own music. They play mostly dancehall and reggae, but also soca and reggaeton. They have recorded with most of poish reggae MC's (Pablopavo, Jr. Stress, Reggaenerator, Mista Pita, Natural Dread Killaz, Ras Luta).
There are songs by (at least) two artists to be found on this page: - the Swedish indie dance/pop band Bird People (e.g. "Smiling", "Pygmalion") - the Austrian psychedelic/drone band Bird People (a.k.a. Telepathic Transmission from the Ancient Mystery Cult of Bird People). Bird People is the main musical outlet of Feathered Coyote Records founder Uli Rois.
In 1982 the Bollywood session musician CHARANJIT SINGH imported with much pain some of the latest synthesizer equipment into India. A good investment as Bollywood composers liked to feature the latest sound in their songs, and with these keyboards Singh spiced up numerous Bollywood recordings. But apart from that, in the late nightly hours after the studio recording were over, Singh set out on his own, wholly original project.
From out of the fir-lined mists of the Pacific Northwest's primordial musical soup is spawned the singular performance and sound sculptor Soriah. Spilling initially from a rock and roll womb, but building on years of intensive studies in Tuvan throat singing and classical Indian raga chanting, Soriah both subverts and elevates tradition by weaving the avant-garde into the ancient. The musician and ritual artist known as Soriah (aka Enrique Ugalde of Portland, OR) first came into being more than 10 years ago.
