Working out of Sydney, Katalyst received the prestigious 'Best Producer' award at the Australian Dance Music Awards in 2002. Before embarking on a solo career, Ashley Anderson's previous work has included an album with producer Illpickl. Under the name of Moonrock, the two producers released a self titled album in 1998.
