Hoven Droven is a Swedish folk rock band founded in 1989. They specialize in instrumental, hard rock arrangements of old Swedish folk tunes. The closest English translation of "Hoven Droven" is "helter skelter" or "whatever." Their 2006 album "Jumping at the Cedar" was nominated for a 2007 Grammis in the folk music category.
Tine Thing Helseth (phonetic pron.Tin-eh Ting Hel-set) (Norwegian pronunciation: [ˈtiːnɛ tɪŋ hɛlsɛt]; born August 18, 1987 in Oslo) is a Norwegian trumpet soloist specializing in classical repertoire. Helseth started to play trumpet at the age of 7 and studies at the Barratt Due Institute of Music in Oslo. Her teachers have included Heidi Johanessen (Norwegian National Opera Orchestra) and since 2002 Arnulf Naur Nilsen (Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra).[1]

Leaves' Eyes is a symphonic gothic metal band with folk elements from Norway and Germany assembled in 2003, shortly before singer Liv Kristine was fired from Theatre of Tragedy. Their debut album, Lovelorn, was released in 2004. The second album, Vinland Saga, was released 30th of May 2005, and retells the tale of the discovery of Vinland (i.e. North America) by Leif Erikson. The EP Legend Land was released on June 2, 2006 as a followup to Vinland Saga.

Takida, a five piece rock band from Ånge, Sweden, started out in 1999 and they have worked hard to get where they are today. They have been touring all around Sweden and built quite a reputation as a solid live rockband. Their fanbase is growing as we speak. Their first demo Old was only produced in 500 copies and sold out immediately, Old was recorded in year 2000. It was followed up by the EP T2 (2000), the full length album Takida (2001), the ep Gohei (2003) and the ep Thorns (2004).
