Absurd Minds

"(AbsuЯd) Minds" is a music band from Germany. Absurd Minds was formed in 1995 by Stefan Großmann (voice, composing) and Tilo Ladwig (composing, programming, sampling). Musically they were inspired by the of the early 1990s. Between 1995 and 1999, Absurd Minds released three CD-rs in limited quantities, laying the groundwork for further developments by the band. After a long creative phase their first concert took place at the Dresden club, "Bunker". As a result of this the band came into contact with "Music Cooperation" who subsequently became their management.

SugarComa

1) Formed in 1999 when Jess "stole" Claire from former band Little Green Pants The first 3 songs ever written by SugarComa are 'Bed of Dolls', 'Boy in Chains' (now known as Zero Star) and 'Heartworm'. These went on to be Coma classics. After a couple of other songs were written, the band recorded an amateur-sounding demo tape in the St Edwards school studio. The bands first proper gig took place at The Walthamstow Standard, supporting a Metallica tribute act.

Bad Veins

Bad Veins is an indie rock duo from Cincinnati, Ohio, composed of Benjamin Davis and Sebastien Schultz. The band released their debut self-titled album on Dangerbird Records. Davis primarily writes the music, plays guitar and keyboard, and sings, while also recording backtracking music on a reel-to-reel tape player, nicknamed Irene. Schultz plays the drums. Davis also uses a megaphone and telephone to sing into, producing an unique sound.

The Shorts

The Shorts are a hardcore punk band from Southampton, UK. They were formed by Mike Fox (guitar / vocals) and Tony Suspect (drums / vocals) in 2009. A demo was recorded with Kevin Borrett (ex Pilger) playing bass.They then recruited Neil Clelland (ex Intent / Pilger) to play guitar and the "Skinned Alive" EP was recorded in 2011. Alan Marshall (ex Whole In The Head / Chinapple Punx) joined. Influences: Minor Threat, Limp Wrist, The Stupids, 7 Seconds. Volcano Choir

Volcano Choir is an American indie band that started as a collaboration between Justin Vernon (of Bon Iver) and Collections of Colonies of Bees. Their debut album is Unmap and was released on September 22, 2009. It reached number 92 on the Billboard Top 200 chart. A second album, Repave, was released on September 3, 2013.
The project originally came together with songs being written in 2005. It was not recorded until the fall of 2008 in Fall Creek, Wisconsin, USA.

Pseudo Echo

Pseudo Echo were an Australian band. Formed in the early eighties by school friends Brian Canham (vocals, guitars, and keyboards) and Pierre Gigliotti (bass and keyboards), the band completed its lineup with Anthony Agiro (drums) and Tony Lugton (guitars and keyboards). Their first album Autumnal Park was an Ultravox-influenced album that yielded the Australian singles "Listening" (produced by Peter Dawkins) , "Stranger in Me", "Dancing Till Midnight", and "Beat for You". It was a mature album that gave little indication of their youth.

The Move

The Move evolved from several mid 1960s Birmingham based groups, including Carl Wayne & The Vikings, The Nightriders & The Mayfair Set. The group's name seems to refer to the move various members of these bands made to form the group. Beside Roy Wood, the original members of the Move were drummer Bev Bevan, bassist Chris "Ace" Kefford, vocalist Carl Wayne & guitarist Trevor Burton. Their first single, 'Night of Fear' was released in 1966 and was the first in a line of memorable hits penned chiefly by Roy Wood.
