Gaskin's harmonized melodic vocal style set them apart from many their NWOBHM contemporaries, with their style being a bit more refined than the rough riffing associated with early 80's Brit metal. With the standout opening track "Sweet Dream Maker", the End Of The World debut ranks as the better of the two albums released before falling by the wayside alongside many other bands of the time. Many years later, founder/namesake Paul Gaskin recruited a new lineup and released Stand Or Fall in 2000, which coincided with their appearance at Wacken 2000.

Lagwagon is a punk band based in the small town of Goleta, California. Forming in 1990, they have released seven albums, all through San Francisco label Fat Wreck Chords. They are widely viewed as catalysts for the pop-punk movement of the 1990's, opening the door for some of the subgenre's more mainstream bands. The most recent members of Lagwagon include Vocalist Joey Cape, guitarists Chris Flippin and Chris Rest, bassist Joe Raposo, and drummer Dave Raun.

It's a sad comment on the music industry that Martha Wash had to SUE various records labels for ripping off her vocals for other big hits (BLACK BOX, C&C MUSIC FACTORY) to finally get a shot at making her own debut album, but here it is! If only more people bought it like me.
