Anneke van Giersbergen

Anneke van Giersbergen (born March 8, 1973) was the singer in the Dutch band The Gathering from 1995 to 2007 when she announced her departure, summer 2007. She has since formed Agua de Annique with whom she released new songs in the fall of 2007. She has also worked with Devin Townsend Project, Danny Cavanagh from Anathema, Lawn, The Farmer Boys , Ayreon, Napalm Death, Globus, Moonspell, Giant Squid and she has also done a live guest performance for Within Temptation.

Roger Eno

Roger Eugene Eno was born in Woodbridge, England in 1959. He is known primarily as an ambient composer. He began euphonium lessons at twelve and at sixteen entered Colchester College to study music. On graduating and after a period of busking in London he returned to Colchester to run a music therapy course at a local hospital for the mentally handicapped. His first recording experience was with his brother Brian Eno and Daniel Lanois for the album Apollo at Lanois' Grant Avenue Studios in Canada. His first solo album Voices appeared shortly afterwards.

By manipulating the natural tones of his guitar with effects and loops he can deform and reshape the sounds generated by his instrument until you're no longer sure what you're hearing - an organ, a voice, or no recognisable instrument. Between abstract sounds, fragile and delicate melodies reveal themselves to you; finding yourself lost in intricate textures you are suddenly awoken by an absence of structure or sound, of something that one can hold on to.

Son Lux is Ryan Lott. His debut recording, At War With Walls and Mazes (2008), earned him the title of "Best New Artist" by NPR's All Songs Considered. Bossk are a Kent based post-metal band. They released 2 albums (.1 and .2) and a DVD (.3), forming 'The Trilogy', post disbanding in 2008 a split EP was released with Rinoa, containing the new live track "Events Occur In Real Time". In early 2012 they announced they were reforming for a BBC Maida Vale session for Daniel P. Carter's Rock Show which would include new song 'Pick Up Artist', to be released as a free download from the bands website in September 2012.

Solar Bears

Hailing from Dublin and Wicklow, Solar Bears formed in early 2009. The band consists of John Kowalski and Rian Trench who met at sound engineering college. Sharing a love of world cinema, their music combines a number of different influences ranging from electronica to film composers like Ennio Morricone and George Delerue. Their sound is a mix of programming, acoustic instruments, synths and vintage tape machines.

Forgotten Tomb

Forgotten Tomb is a black metal band formed in Piacenza, Italy in 1999 by Ferdinando "Herr Morbid" Marchisio. The band is well-known for being among the pioneers of the so-called depressive black metal subgenre. They have modified their style over the years by adding classic rock influences to the typical eerie sound. The lyrical themes of the early albums revolve mostly around depression and suicide, while the recent albums lyrics deal with negativity and nihilism.
