Australia’s premiere Brutal North Coast Blackened Deathgrindslamcore band, Aborted Jesus Milkshake, want you to witness firsthand the death of all things resembling enjoyment. Heralded as simultaneously the best Brutal North Coast Blackened Deathgrindslamcore band in Australia, they are also largely believed to be the worst overall band in Australia, beating many other popular contenders for the title, such as Short Stack and The Veronicas.

M People were a British house music act from Manchester which formed in 1990. They consisted of Mike Pickering, Heather Small and Paul Heard and Shovell. Pickering was a member of factory records dance act Quando Quango, but became more noted as one of the original DJs at The hacienda. Heard was a member of acid jazz band Ace Of Clubs. Heather Small was in the British Soul band Hot House who had released a number of critically acclaimed records without scoring any major success.

1) The band is based in Kungsbacka, south of Gothenburg, Sweden. It was formerly known as Northern Shadow, but the name was changed to Nightshade in January 1996. After some serious line-up changes (in fact, the only remaining member is vocalist Daniel Kvist), the first official demo, ‘The Benighted’, was recorded in ART Studio June 1997. A couple of bassplayers later the preparation of the second demo resulted in recruiting a keyboard player.

Sydney band and artist duo Circle Pit (Angie Bermuda and Jack Mannix) inhabit and navigate a murky sea of rock and roll iconography: faded denim, leather, skulls, silver jewelry, bleached hair, fingerless gloves, bird bones, empty beer bottles, feathers, fur, aviator shades, scribbled out or scrawled on text… Hell, even their name is taken from a slam-dance style preferred by skinheads and hardcore enthusiasts of the 1980s.
