Seventh Angel is a thrash/doom metal band from Netherton, UK, that formed in 1987. Their first two releases, The Torment (1990), and Lament for the Weary (1991) were distributed through the label "Music for Nations" making them label mates with bands such as Metallica, Megadeth, and Slayer, and were considered by many at the time to be one best metal acts in the United Kingdom. The Foreshadowing rushed themselves into the abyss of the world in the fall of 2005. The idea takes its origins away back in 1997 by a load of necropolitan fragments of music picked up by Alessandro Pace (aka Alex Vega with Dope Stars Inc., ex Klimt 1918 & Spiritual Front), founder of the band. His friends Andrea Chiodetti (guitar player of Grimness and ex Spiritual Front) and Francesco Sosto (keyboard player, ex Spiritual Front and Klimt 1918 sessionman) joined him soon.
Lacrimas Profundere is a doom metal, and afterwards gothic rock/metal band from Germany. Lacrimas Profundere was founded in 1993 by guitarist Oliver Schmid. At the time, the band was strongly influenced by doom metal, and made use of feminine vocals and classical elements. With the entrance of vocalist Anja Hötzendorfer, they drew enough attention to themselves to be able to record their debut, entitled ...and the Wings Embraced Us, which was released in 1995 and was followed by La Naissance d'un Rêve, from 1997.
