Sydney band Charge Group formed around 2005 and currently comprises three members of the now-defunct Newcastle outfit Purplene - vocalist/guitarist Matt Blackman (also of Tucker Bs), bassist Adam Jesson (The Instant), and drummer Matt Rossetti (The Instant). The fourth member is violinist/vocalist Jason Tampake (Firekites, Josh Pyke band), also originally from Newcastle.

After the sudden and tragic death of schoolfriend and God Machine bassist Jimmy Fernandez, Proper-Sheppard began searching for a new musical outlet. Heart Kill Giant's dreamy, acoustic ramblings and harmonious melodies, are marinated in whisky and are slow burning tales of love, neglect and regret. One night last winter, after meeting the Devil on Coldharbour Lane, they were inspired to record 12 songs, which will be released as a series of 3 EPs. “The Heart EP” is the first and also their debut release, it will be available on November 8th.
Hunz is a three-piece electronic pop band, spearheaded by Brisbane-based electronic musician and producer, Hans Van Vliet. With a background in music programming and motion design, Hans pulls his notes out of a binary soup of ones and zeroes, hand-crafting synth patches and beats from scratch. The result is a mix of pulsating, glitchy electronics and ethereal vocals that hint at the sinister, but succumb to the pleasure of pop hooks instead.
1) Dusted is the dewy-eyed solo pop project of Holy Fuck's Brian Borchedt. It draws on Women's tantalising, elegiac lo-fi moments; 'Candy Says'-era the Velvet Underground; and cavernous Microphones-style production, and a debut album is due through Hand Drawn Dracula / Polyvinyl in summer 2012. Borchedt is based in Toronto, Canada. 2) Dusted is the joint venture of two producers, Rollo Armstrong (Rollo Armstrong, who has produced New Order, Pet Shop Boys, Faithless) and Mark Bates (Guy Ornadel).
