Coockoo is a young and eccentric, alternative rock band, based in Moscow. Internet success in January 2009 with their provocative single; Groupies’ Anthem (F.U.C.K) brought instant popularity within the Russian underground music scene. During the proceeding year they have built on this success playing regularly at some of the finest music venues in Moscow. The year has continued positively with rotations on national radio and performances being screened on Russian Music TV channels.

Rachael Boyd is a musician from Belfast who writes experimental piano and violin driven music with hints of electronica. Her live set consists of looped piano/violin/vocals with electronics. Her influences are a mixture of alternative rock/electronic bands and classical music from the Romantic period such as Debussy and Chopin. Her favourite artists include Balmorhea, Broken Social Scene, Radiohead, Brand New, Biffy Clyro, Colour, This Town Needs Guns, Tubelord, Cougar....
Maria Peszek was born in 1973 in Wrocław. She's a daughter of a well-known actor. As she has graduated from acting school, she started performing. So did her brother Błażej.
Her adventure with music began with the play Muzyka ze słowami (Music With Words) where her acting was accompanied with music composed by Polish independent artist Wojciech Waglewski. In 2005 this resulted in Miasto Mania, with music by Wojciech Waglewski and his sons Fisz and Emade (also well known for their ambient hip hop albums).
My Silent Wake's style could be described as gothic death doom, although it also includes more varied elements. Their influences are wide ranging but predominantly include early Paradise Lost, My Dying Bride, Trouble, Celtic Frost and Black Sabbath.

Brown Bird is an American acoustic band. Pulling from the influences of the blues, outlaw country, roots rock, early American folk, Gypsy and Eastern European music, Brown Bird offers harmonized voices, haunting lyrics and diverse rhythm and instrumentation, which surges in waves that often swell into high-spirited, foot-stomping madness. Brown Bird began in 2003, and has since toured extensively, including a European stint supporting RI-based band The Low Anthem. There are multiple artists with this name: 1) Coma is a Polish alternative rock band, founded in 1998 in Łódź by Dominik Witczak (guitar) and Tomasz Stasiak (drums). The first album "Pierwsze Wyjście z Mroku" was released in 2004. After winning the Rock Festival in Węgorzewo the band became very popular in Poland. The second album, "Zaprzepaszczone Siły Wielkiej Armii Świętych Znaków" was released in May 2006.
Neil Hannon (born November 7, 1970) is a singer and songwriter, best known as the creator and lead member of the orchestral pop group The Divine Comedy. The band's official website even goes so far as to say, "The Divine Comedy is Neil Hannon," and Hannon is quoted in an interview as saying, "The Divine Comedy will always be my band because... I thought of it first!" In 2005 he contributed vocals to his long-time collaborator Joby Talbot's soundtrack for the movie version of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
