Chris Smith

chris smith is a genuine heartfelt vagabond from the southern places below melbourne town. he gave up his ghost for an electric guitar and has continued to manifest apparitions and spirits into this world through the circuitry of that darn piece of art since exiting the 'Golden Lifestyle Band' back sometime in the forgotten nineties. part uneasy silence/part heart breaking noise chris has found a zone rarely inhabited by the vast mountains of guitarrorists wandering the open plains these days. catch his beautiful webs are melbourne town.

enos

There are at least two artists with the name Enos. a) ENOS are a 3-member noise project from Athens, Greece. Their music relies heavily on static and electric feedback. b) Enos are a psychedelic doom band formed in Brighton in August 2008. Begun by ex-bandmates Chris Rizzanski and Sparky Rogers from the wreckage of Dollar Sent, it seemed like time for a change. With a line up now completed by ex-Killing Mode/Locust Resin member Bungle, enos are currently recording their first EP.

Rabbits

RABBITS is a power trio from Portland, Oregon. The band comprises one drummer (KG) and two guitarists/vocalists (Sethro and Booze). RABBITS has been described as sludge, hardcore, punk, and thrash, or amalgamations thereof which may be succinctly characterized as “moonshine metal” for the simple, potent, dirty, and often chaotic concoctions RABBITS brews. RABBITS began playing shows in 2005 and began releasing records (vinyl only) in 2006: the self-released “Sloth vs. Bees” 7-inch and the “Lungs” 12-inch split with Under Mountains on Eolian Records.

Parquet Courts

Parquet Courts is a band from New York City. At the center of the group is A. Savage, who at this point is known for his collaborations with projects like Fergus & Geronimo, Teenage Cool Kids and Wiccans. Savage is joined by three other musicians (“three quarters Texans and three quarters Pisces”) and describes the bands’ debut release as The Fall meets Neil Young. On the band’s debut release, “American Specialties”, this all makes sense. The quartet wonders through the American and British underground, picking away their favorite parts with confidence.

The Lowland Hundred

Marooned in Aberystwyth, UK, blind chance and a shared fascination with the British seaside brought together Paul Newland and Tim Noble. On deserted beaches and vertiginous coastal paths, in ancient woodlands and derelict mines, conversations veered wildly from myth to fact, sea to sky, waking to dreaming, cartography to psychogeography, song to instrumental, melody to rhythm
