The Sights

The Fleshtones

Often tagged as garage-rock revivalists, the Fleshtones mix the fuzz-guitar and Farfisa organ sounds of that genre with rockabilly, '50s and '60s R&B, and surf into a potent retro stew the group likes to call "Super Rock." The group formed in 1976 in Queens with vocalist/keyboardist Peter Zaremba, guitarist Keith Streng, bassist Jan Marek Pukulski, and drummer Bill Milhizer and aimed to return rock and roll to the simplicity and unself-consciousness of the '50s and early-'60s. (The group was often joined on-stage and in the studio by sax player Gordon Spaeth, who passed on in 2005.

Box Elders

Box Elders started as the Friday night goof off sessions of brothers Clayton and Jeremiah McIntyre. Naming themselves after the bugs that infested the house they grew up in, they began playing impromptu shows around Omaha. Drummer and organist Dave Goldberg saw them play a free show in a park and was convinced to join. The brothers suggested that Goldberg learn to play both instruments simultaneously instead of adding a fourth member. It took some practice.

Len Price 3

"The Len Price 3 are a garage pop band hailing from the Medway Towns. Their sound is forged in the Medway tradition, fusing driving energy, catchy hooks and a raw 60's garage sound. On disc and at live shows The Len Price 3 offer a truly memorable and invigorating sonic experience. Royal Baths

Featuring ex-members of Tea Elles and formally called The Baths, the Royal Baths are a band from San Francisco, CA that are in the same garage rock scene as bands like Ty Segall, Thee Oh Sees, and The Fresh & Onlys. Unlike those bands, though, the Royal Baths contrast with sunny San Francisco and it's sunny sounds and focus on a very dark and intense form of "stoner" psychedelia, whilst combining other, more melodic elements.

The Barlights

There was a band named Oblique which failed due to the disparate locations of its band members. Three of said members realised that there was little else that they were good at, and decided to change the name a couple of times and recruit an old friend as a fourth member, thus creating the barlights. They have all been close friends (or close to being friends) for a minimum of 13 years, depending on which denomination of band members you choose.
