K's Choice is a Belgian rock band from Antwerp. The band centers on siblings Sarah Bettens (lead vocals, guitar) and Gert Bettens (guitar, keyboard, vocals). They are joined by Eric Grossman (bass), Jan van Sichem Jr. (guitar) and Koen Liekens (drums). Their music can be described as guitar-based singer-songwriter rock or folk-rock. It ranges from very delicate and intimate singer-songwriter songs to songs that are stronger, more active and louder.
Patty Griffin, born Patricia Jean Griffin, March 16th, 1964 in Old Town, Maine, is an American folk singer. She brought out her debut album Living With Ghosts--a set of demos featuring only Ms. Griffin and her guitar--to critical acclaim in 1996. Her sophomore album, Flaming Red, demonstrated a more rocking, full-band sound. The ill-fated Silver Bell album was never released by her record label, however, and the label terminated her recording contract shortly after that. Many of the songs from Silver Bell were re-recorded for subsequent albums.
In the past couple years The Maddigans have worked extremely hard and it's started to pay off. Their recent accomplishments include booking their 7th Canadian tour, 1st ever US tour, being featured on AbsolutePunk, playing Canadian Music Week 2011, and reaching over 13,000 fans on facebook alone. Perfume is the name of at least two bands. Perfume is a three person j-pop/electro-pop group from Hiroshima who debuted locally in 2001 and nationally in 2005. In 2001, three 11-12 year old girls from an Artist School formed a group together in their hometown of Hiroshima. Consisting of Ayano Ōmoto (Nocchi), Yuka Kashino (Kashiyuka), and Ayaka Nishiwaki (A-Chan). Because all three members had the Japanese character (香) for fragrance in their names, they named the group Perfume. In 2002, they released two limited edition singles only in Hiroshima, called “OMAJINAI★ペロリ” and “彼氏募集中”.
Broken Oath formed in Glasgow/Scotland (UK) in 2001, after several minor lineup changes their first demo was self released. Limited to 300 copies this sold out fast! More lineup changes followed as well as extensive touring of the UK. The now settled lineup released a split CD (What lies ahead) with Peterborough band Eviscerate AD. The release of this CD on Unity Worldwide Recordings saw the band hit mainland Europe for the first time.

Greta Valenti’s pint size frame certainly belies the strength and power of her vocal delivery. Mixing simmering whispers with belting choruses, her veracious vocals and stinging lyrics are refreshingly diverse.
Her partner in crime is an Englishman named Robin Davey. He is a multi-instrumentalist, old school guitar slinger, and the youngest inductee into the British Blues Hall of Fame.
