Terakaft is a gang of guitarists, in the same vein as Tinariwen. Nothing astonishing about that if you consider that Terakaft was founded by Kedou and Diara, two formative and historical guitarists from Tinariwen. Moreover Kedou accompanied Tinariwen to the very first Festival with the Desert by Chock-Essako in January 2001, and contributes four songs on their first album The Radio Tisdas Sessions.

Black To Comm is an alias for Dekorder label owner Marc Richter's audio excursions. Richter creates his music using scratchy shellac and vinyl records, field recordings, a so called "kitchen gamelan," and more traditional instruments like organs, guitars, pianos and mbiras. The layering and hypnotic repetition of short loops from Psychedelia, Free Jazz, Vaudeville, and various other old recordings reveals alternative melodic dimensions not apparent in the source material.
Was the lead singer in the Australian band of the 1990s - Frente! from Melbourne, and later found success with Splendid. Her debut solo album Grounded Bird was released in 2007.
Igorrr (aka Gautier Serre) is a composer of electronic and acoustic music who mixes genres as widely-varying as breakcore, glitch, baroque, death metal, and trip-hop among others. He is based in France and has been composing music since 2006. Conor Oberst is an American singer-songwriter born February 15, 1980 in Omaha, Nebraska. He began his recording career in 1993 at the age of 13 and has since produced an enormous amount of material. Conor was deeply influenced early on by singer-songwriters David Dondero and Simon Joyner. His first two albums "Water" and "Here's to Special Treatment" were both released in 1994. Rolling Stone has referred to him as "rock's boy genius.
Ben Christophers is an English singer-songwriter. He wrote his first song at the age of five and has released four full length albums: My Beautiful Demon, Spoonface, The Spaces In Between and a limited edition album called Viewfinder. In 2010 he released a self-titled mini-album and toured with Imogen Heap. He is also part of the Blue Dreams, the backing band for Bat For Lashes. Christophers has had two TV documentaries made on him by the VPRO in Holland. He has written with and duetted with Françoise Hardy and toured with Tori Amos.
