Kevin Drumm

Kevin Drumm is an experimental musician based in Chicago, Illinois, United States. Emerging from the city's improvised music scene, in the 1990s he became one the world's pre-eminent prepared guitar players. Years active from 1991. Bongripper is a four-piece instrumental sludge metal band from Chicago, IL, United States. Since 2005, they have self-released seven recordings. There are at least three bands called Indian: 1) A Chicago-based doom metal band. Born in different parts of country, brewed in the depths of Chicago, Indian have grown to be chiefs of doom in the Midwest and around the U.S. since their first show in early 2003. Their slow-sludge guitars, demon-esque vocals and mad smart rhythms make the three piece pure sophisticated evil. Indian's first recording, Godslave, released in 2004, quickly became an underground favorite for doomers across the country.

Stephen O'Malley (sometimes referred to as SOMA) is a producer & musician, predominantly a guitarist, from Seattle, Washington who has conceptualized and participated in numerous drone doom, death/doom, and experimental bands since 1993. Graves at Sea

Formed in 2002, originally hailing from Phoenix, AZ and now residing in Oakland, California, Graves at Sea play a very droney, slow, painful sounding type of sludge. With members coming from previous bands and one member having knowledge in sound engineering their first demo went extremely well and immediately caught some attention in the doom metal subculture, promptly causing the band to get signed and start producing legit material and in turn, gaining even more praise in the metal scene.

Planning for Burial

Following the release of the underrated Leaving (on Enemies List, home of Have A Nice Life) Planning For Burial has been sporadically popping up in live venues (sharing the stage with a wide breadth of musical compatriots from Chelsea Wolfe to Deafheaven while seeming out of place at none) along the east and west coasts and releasing a slew of EPs and splits over the last 3 years (all while writing and recording a mythical second album that has been dangled in front of his obsessive fans as coming soon for almost three years).

Agonhymn

Agonhymn are a crushing, extremely detuned 2 piece from Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Originally a breakaway from an earlier Bendigo-based stoner rock band, Zuul, Liam (drums) and Dav (vocals/melodyhorn/samples/baritone guitar) decided there was much to be said for 2 guys sounding heavier than 6. The band has released a demo tape (Telekinesis) and a full length (Doom Jazz), the latter of which which is available on the Heathen Skulls label.
