Gift Of Gab (Tim Parker) and Chief Xcel (Xavier Mosley) met at John F. Kennedy High School in 1987 in Sacramento, California and formed the group in the early 1990s. They released their first recording, "Swan Lake", on . The Solesides Crew consisted of the duo, as well as other friends of theirs they had met at University of California - Davis, including DJ Shadow, Lyrics Born and Lateef The Truth Speaker. The single was an underground hit, but label trouble prevented the duo from immediately capitalizing on their fame.

Rocket from the Crypt

Pledging to never play a venue with a stage, singer/guitarist John Reis formed San Diego's Rocket from the Crypt in the summer of 1990 after becoming disillusioned with the hardcore punk band he was in called Pitchfork. Joining with then-current Rocketeers bassist Petey X and guitarist N.D, in addition to departed drummer Sean and backing vocalist Elaina, Reis and company released Paint As A Fragrance in 1991.

Reuben Morgan

Reuben Morgan is a worship leader, music pastor, and songwriter at the Hillsong Church in Sydney, Australia. He is well known for such songs as 'Eagles Wings', 'Hear Our Praises', 'I Give You My Heart', 'My Redeemer Lives' and 'Touching Heaven, Changing Earth'. In 1999, Morgan and Marty Sampson formed "United Live". Darlene Zschech, the worship pastor of Hillsong (1995-2007), had suggested to Morgan that they make an album with the youth worship team and, in 1999, they made their debut album called Everyday with Morgan and Sampson leading the team.

Will Stratton (b. 1987, Woodland, CA) is an American songwriter, composer, and arranger. He lives and works in Brooklyn, NY. He was born in Yolo County, California, and started making up songs on the piano when he was three years old. Will spend most of his formative years in the suburbs of northern New Jersey. On his twelfth birthday, he got his first electric guitar, and in the decade since, music has owned him unconditionally.

Grupo Fantasma

Grupo Fantasma is an eleven-piece orchestra from Austin, Texas. Formed in 2000 from the merger of two acts, The Blue Noise Band and The Blimp, the band emerged with a sold out show at the former Empanada Parlour in Austin. The band is best known for their exuberant live shows and their recent association with Prince and his 3121 Club in Las Vegas. The band has backed Prince on numerous occasions, including his performance on the ALMA Awards in 2007, and often perform at his afterparty jam sessions. The ensemble has sold more than 20,000 albums independently.

Burning Hearts

Le Futur Pompiste, which released one marvelous album in 2004, Your Stories and Your Thoughts, before the vagaries of adult life scattered them far and wide; and Cats On Fire, whose debut long-player, 2007's The Province Complains, captivated all who were lucky enough to hear it (among them the writers at superlative U.K. magazine The Word). It was inevitable that this pair of bands, whose music shares a poise and sophistication rarely heard anywhere, never mind within the modest environs of Finland, would find each other.

The critically acclaimed musician first appeared in the early '90s armed with only his four-track tape recorder, his unexpectedly low vocal range, and an extremely detuned guitar.

Decoder Ring

Decoder Ring was formed in 2001, in Sydney, Australia. Original line-up consisted of Matt Fitzgerald ( keyboards, guitar) Geoff Towner (bass, El Mopa), Pete Kelly (guitar, Sea Life Park), Kenny Davis Jr (keyboards, piano, The Jackson Code, The Blackeyed Susans) & Thomas Schutzinger (drums). Original line-up recorded the EP "Spooky Action at a Distance" (2002) and album "Decoder Ring" (2002). Geoff Towner departed in 2003 and was replaced by Ben Ely (Regurgitator).

U Brown

Huford Brown aka U Brown is a born in Kingston, Jamaica in 1956. He discovered Jamaican music by visiting local bars near the Treasure Isle studio with his father. He began mixing at the age of 15 for Philip Monroe at Sound Of Music. He became well known from his early hits such as ''Wet Up Your Pants Foot'' and ''Jah Jah Whip Them''. In 1975, he recorded his first album ''Satta Dread," which was released in Jamaica and England.
