Marathon

There are numerous bands with the name Marathon: 1. Marathon was a melodic punk band from various parts of upstate New York, formed from the ashes of bands such as Standfast, De La Hoya, and Building On Fire. They toured the US and won fans with their sincere political lyrics and catchy melodies. In May of 2006 Marathon played their final two shows in New Brunswick, NJ and Syracuse, NY. Members of Marathon continue to write music and tour the world in bands like Attica! Attica! and Polar Bear Club.

The night has gathered a devoted following since it began in 2008 and prides itself on providing the crowd with upfront music in a funky and friendly atmosphere. To kick things off Djs Noone and PC man the turntables dropping everything from OldSkool Hip-Hop and Funk to Reggae and Jazz. As the night gathers pace Shaool and Myster-E grab the microphone and raise the roof with intelligent hard hitting rhymes while original beats are dropped by Noone.

LEADTHEWAY (Pronounced Lead-The-Way or sometimes reffered to as LTW for short) is a melodic hardcore/punk band from Wakefield, UK. They formed in 2002 after the demise of previous bands Onset and Jon Doe's with original members Adam Hanley, Dave Baugh , Paul Geary and Steve Hawthorn. Their music is characterisedby catchy melodies, fast pace, crazy guitar hooks and socially consicous lyrics. They released their demo "Born to bear their burden" in 2002 on their own label Onset Records.

Swingin' Utters is an American punk rock band that formed in the late 1980s. Having begun in Santa Cruz, California, the band moved to San Francisco where they are now based. They have been signed to Fat Wreck Chords since 1996. As well as being classed as a "punk revival" band (reminiscent of British 1970s bands such as Stiff Little Fingers, The Damned, Sham 69 and Eddie & The Hot Rods), Swingin' Utters have increasingly shown themselves to be influenced by Irish folk, particularly The Pogues.
