Disco Ensemble was formed in 1996 in Pori, Finland. For many years the band has been in the basements and underground-venues, writing songs and playing shows that would have put any band in the limelight to shame. From periods ranging from progressive hardcore to more accessible punk rock, childhood friends Mikko (drums) and Jussi (guitar), bassist Lasse and vocalist Miikka have been Finland's best kept secret for too long.

The Delta Lions are an Australian country/indy/blues influenced rock band based in Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia. Slingshot Dakota is a two-piece indie-punk band from Bethlehem, PA. Carly Comando sings and plays keyboard while Tom Patterson plays drums. They are releasing a new album called "Dark Hearts" by the end of the world.
Desaparecidos was a short-lived American quintet formed in 2001 in Omaha, Nebraska, fronted by Conor Oberst (vocals, guitar) and featuring Denver Dalley, now of Statistics (guitar), Landon Hedges, now of Little Brazil (bass), Ian McElroy (keyboards), and Matt Baum (drums). This project however was restarted in 2010. Oberst may be better known for his confessional songwriting and storytelling as the lead singer of the popular indie folk band Bright Eyes, but Desaparecidos has a very different flavor.
