Today Is the Day

Today Is The Day is an experimental rock/metal band founded by Steve Austin and Brad Elrod. The band saw its beginnings take root in Nashville, Tennessee in the early 1990s when Today Is The Day released their debut EP, entitled How To Win Friends And Influence People, in 1992. This self-financed release garnered the attention of Amphetamine Reptile Records (AmRep) who signed the band (at this time consisting of Austin on vocals and guitar, Brad Elrod on drums and percussion, and Mike Herrell on bass) in February 1993 and released the full-length Supernova later that year.

Condemned

There are mutliple artists with this name: 1) Condemned is a slamming brutal death metal band from California, USA. They formed in 2004 by Forrest Stedt (Drums, Cephalotripsy, Viral Load) and Steve Crow (Guitars) reharshing on a few ideas. Soon after old friend Paul Hickey (Bass) was added and thus the line up was completed. They started to rehearse and wirting material of low tuned gutiars, catchy hooks, low guttural vocals and blasting drums to their music.

Dr. Acula

Dr. Acula is a grindcore band from Long Island, New York. The band's name comes from a joke written by stand-up comedian Mitch Hedberg. All of their songs are named after books in R.L. Stine's GOOSEBUMPS series. Dr. Acula formed in September 2005 and quickly accumulated a following thanks to non-stop DIY touring, energetic performances, and not taking themselves too seriously. They self-released their first recording, the Chillogy EP, in 2006.

More than one artist has used the name Demian. Demian (1) was a Texan psychedelic rock band (formerly known as Bubble Puppy), formed in 1966 in San Antonio, Texas by Rod Prince and Roy Cox. Looking to form a "top gun rock band" based on the concept of dual lead guitars, Prince and Cox recruited Todd Potter, a gymnast, saxophone player and guitarist. With the addition of Danny Segovia, the original line up of Bubble Puppy was complete. Bubble Puppy's live debut was as the opening act for The Who in San Antonio.
