Unter Null

Unter Null is an electronic music project formed by Erica Dunham in 1998 in Seattle, WA, now currently based in Hamburg, Germany. The official website is http://www.unter-null.net. Years of classical music training, a love for computers and technology, a tough-as-nails resolve, a fierce independent streak, and the compulsion to find catharsis through music led Erica to eventually form Unter Null at the age of 17. Unter Null has been and will always be Erica Dunham in the studio.

Shock Defeat!

The band formed after the original band members Nic Carter (lead vocal / guitar), Tim Bensted (bass / backing vocal) Rob Paul (guitar / backing vocal) and Charlie Michael (drums) left Goldsmiths in New Cross, London some time around the mid '00s. Rob Paul left and formed Skiffle band 'The Severed Limb' and was replaced by Diarmid Swainson. This coincided with a shift in the band's output from a Rockabilly influenced style to a more dance led sound. The number was bolstered by the introduction of Christian McIlveen on percussion and guitar in 2007.
