Malignancy plays very intense, crushing brutal death metal out of Yonkers, NY (US) and are known for their seamless variations between hyper-technical riffing and unsurpassable NYDM style breakdowns. With each release, Malignancy increases speed, technicality, eccentric intensity and originality.
There are multiple artists with this name: 1) Origin is an American technical brutal death metal band from Topeka, Kansas/ They formed in 1998 by Guitarist/Vocalists Paul Ryan and Jeremy Turner. They were soon joined by Clint Appelhanz (Bass), Mark Manning (Vocals) and George Fluke (Drums).
On July 4th, 1997, Paul Ryan and Jeremy Turner, acquaintances through mutual friends, had a conversation that would change their lives.
Although Evil Activities nowadays 'officially' consists only of Kelly van Soest (after Telly Luyks left the group in 2003) Two new members have joined this project:
- Michael Kramer (alias DJ Dazzler) -> MC
- Niels van Hoeckel (alias Chaosphere) -> Keyboard
However, they are only part of the live-act crew (during performance on stage). In the studio, Evil Activities is only Kelly van Soest.
Kelly is also better known as Max Enforcer in the hardstyle scene.
