Kettel is Reimer Eising (born 1982), a self-described "elixir-brewing, camping-loving and musicmaking sorcerer-to-be." He is well-known for his playful, spontaneous melodies and organic folk sounds similar to Aphex Twin, Jega, and Plaid. Kettel has frequently performed live in his home country of the Netherlands, including at the Virus festival in Eindhoven, the Dutch Electronic Arts Festival in Rotterdam, and at Eurosonic and Noorderzon in his home town of Groningen. He has also collaborated on several projects of various remixes and compilations on his many record labels.

Morphogenesis started recording in January 1985 and their first public performance was at the West Square Festival in London in July '85. The group was formed by a group of people interested in exploring the possibilities of live electronic music and collective improvisation. Patrick Best Psychedelic noise/drone/folk band from Richmond, Virginia. They play dense, large-scale pieces of music that radiate inner warmth. They are influenced by Indian raga, the American primitivism of John Fahey, minimalism, and noise music.

Open System are Michael Martin & Matt Hillier. The two decided to combine forces in 2003. The pair are also working on a new ambient/IDM project called Octophonic (also featuring the late Jake Stephenson otherwise known as Ganja Beats). Matt's main project is Ishq, with his partner Jacqui. They are based in Cornwall, UK, and have been writing music since about 1994 under various names and guises. They have released 3 solo albums to date and 3 collaboration albums on various labels including their own label Virtual.
