Shemale

A failed laboratory experiment in the Bio-weapons division of the military-industrial complex known as ManCorp, mysteriously transformed mild-mannered lab technician Pete Plus+ into the SHEMALE a hybrid humanoid robot. In an attempt to cover their tracks, ManCorp decided to destroy SHEMALE, so the secrets of their sinister experiments would remain unknown, but SHEMALE escaped, and went into hiding in a subterranean cave system beneath a metropolis in the North-East of England called Newcastle-upon-Tyne.

Asmus Tietchens

Asmus Tietchens is a German electronic musician who has pursued "absolute music" through an almost mathematical process of rigid formal exercises. With strong ties to Karlheinz Stockhausen's early electronic work, Tietchens specializes in irregular patterns of sonic abstractions that are suspended in gray drones to create cold textural voids from external references.
His music is often inspired and refers to the texts of the philosopher E.M Cioran.

Damsel

For the past few years, avant-jazz legend Nels Cline (Wilco, Thurston Moore, The Geraldine Fibbers) and omnipresent beat freak Zach Hill (Hella, The Ladies, Team Sleep) have been waiting for an opportunity to spend a few hours making noise. When Cline joined Wilco full-time and Hill started The Ladies with Pinback's Rob Crow, the dream seemed increasingly unlikely. And by the time Hill's full-time gig as half of Hella saw him touring arenas with modern rock staples like System of a Down, the dream seemed dead.

Sonnamble

Sonnamble is a project set up by musician, programmer and engineer Conor Curran to explore the possibilities of mixing real time playing with live processing. His principal collaborator is bassist and lap steel guitarist Peter Marsh, and together they make music that blurs the distinction between improvisation and electronica, mixing lush dronescapes with glitchy abstractions or wispy, fragmented clouds of melody.
