Artist Type:

-M-

-M- (Mathieu Chédid) is a well-respected artist from France. Before releasing his own material, he used to be a favored session man for a great variety of pop and electronic acts. He creates extremely eclectic music, plays a whole host of instruments himself during recordings and has a large base of dedicated fans. His music being so eclectic, it is hard to label him. However, the influence of Serge Gainsbourg can be traced in the way he uses the structures of Anglo-Saxon pop and funk, but blends them with the French tradition of complex lyrical wordplay and an emphasis on storytelling.

There are two bands under the name Dolly, one is Japanese (Dolly) and one is French. It's decided that we should respect each band and we should have separate groups for both bands.
Popular French rock group Dolly got together in Nantes, a town in the west of France, in 1991. Their formation came about thanks to drummer Thierry Lacroix and singer Emmanuelle Monet - aka Manu - who shared a mutual passion for English and American music.

Since both are based in Leipzig (Germany) it was inevitable that their ways crossed. Result was in 2005 the up to now most appreciated Architect work The Analysis Of Noise Trading.

Artist Type:

Gestalt

===there are more than one artist named "Gestalt" ---1)
Gestalt was formed in 1982 in Lyon. The group draws from the musical Pantheon where Jim Morrisson and Léo Ferré, Hawkwind and Béla Bartok cross, and the most inventive formations of the moment, like Tuxedomoon or Mechanic. In this asserted eclecticism, it is especially its own way which Gestalt seeks. That of a dark energy rock'n'roll interfered research in the compositions.
