There is more than one artist with this name. 1). Nightjar is an American rock band with country and Americana influences that is based in Indianapolis, Indiana. Playing a forceful sound of rock and alt-country often fueled by a three-guitar attack, Nightjar formed in Indianapolis in early 2007. Influenced by renegade country as well as classic rock styles, the band starting playing what quickly became known as ferocious live shows full of aggressive rock and soul.
