Doom

A Horse Called War

A Horse Called War was formed in November 2005 by five mates from a small, grimy English town in the heart of East Anglia know as Thetford. With so much shit music being shoved in the face of rock 'n' roll and the state of "Great Britain" turning for the worse, they felt it was time to give music a good fuckin' kick in the head, have their say and most importantly have a good time. AHCW went to Purple Studios on the 12th of June 2006 to record their first demo, entitled 'We ain't proud of this'.

They've released a selftitled 7" (React With Protest), a selftitled 12" (React With Protest/Parade of Spectres), the latter of which drew their already dark and intense style more towards epic build ups and heavy droning passages much in the vein of mid-90's Canadian hardcore bands such as Union of Uranus and One-Eyed God Prophecy, a Split 12" with Titan (React with Protest), a selftitled 10" (React with Protest) and a Split 7" with Battle Of Wolf 359 (React with Protest/Adagio830).

Starve

Check out our blog - http://ilovestarve.blogspot.com The music of STARVE is a soundtrack to all the filth, despair, injustice, fear and greed we see in the world around us. The band is inspired by music ranging from the harsh bleakness of sludge metal to the gritty defiance of old blues songs, sometimes mixing these with the unhurried attitudes of legendary southern rock bands. After releasing a demo early in 2010 and playing a variety of shows, the debut full length record 'Wasteland' was recorded during the blistering heat of the summer of the same year.

Triangle Theory

Since their first conception in the warped minds of Aaron Brake (Humble Hobos) and Harry Clapham (Imperator) in the bowels of Perth College just before Christmas 2004, Triangle Theory have changed little. Swiftly recruiting a bass player and drummer in the shape of Tommy Wigman (Thieving Drunkards, Pyramid Head) and Brian Robertson, the band started to put together a few songs with evening jams in the practice rooms at the college.

Artist Type:

gorse

There are two bands using the name Gorse. The former is an avant-folk group hailing from Cornwall, England whose debut opus "May The Gorse Be With You" was released on V/Vm Test in 2002 to much critical acclaim. Their genuine cover quote by Aphex Twin ("this music will make you mad") is perhaps an overstatement, but only just. The latter are a stoner/noise rock band, also hailing from England, whose debut EP was released in 2009 on Caculon records.
