Strength For A Reason

Strength For A Reason (SFAR), one of the cornerstone bands of the Pennsylvania hardcore scene, was born in 1997. Originally comprised of members from Out To Win with Karl fronting the band on vocals, SFAR refocused themselves as a full-time band and obtained members that would be solely dedicated to the project. With music that gets your blood-pumping from the first note to the last, SFAR is a powerhouse within today’s hardcore music scene.

Bleach

The members included, Kanna on guitar and vocals, Miya on bass and Sayuri on drums. Kanna was the primary lyricist. Infectious Grooves

Infectious Grooves (n., in-fek-shus groovz) are a funk metal band led by Suicidal Tendencies frontman Mike Muir. It also featured ex-Suicidal Tendencies, now Metallica, bassist Robert Trujillo, and ex-Jane's Addiction drummer Stephen Perkins. Though Muir's sense of humor was often obvious with Suicidal Tendencies, Infectious Grooves often brought out a goofier type of humor: their albums contain comedy skits by a reptilian lover named Sarsippius. The band can be seen (and heard) performing as the prom band in the 1992 Pauly Shore film Encino Man

The Young Republic

For three and a half years this group of musicians, the five core members still intact, has been occupied solely with improving at their craft, that being writing, arranging and performing music. While other bands of their generation spontaneously sky rocket to fickle fame on an almost weekly basis, The Young Republic is happy to watch the quick burn of modern music pass them over as they are preoccupied with older, more proven times.
