Pandora's Box

There are four bands named Pandora's Box:
1) a Hungarian hard rock band formed in 1980
2) a Jim Steinman studio group, formed in 1989
3) a Philippine nu metal heavy metal band featured in the MusikMAX BICOL compilation CD.
4) a Psytrance duo from Argentina producing darkish sounds. 1)In 1979 Gyula Vikidál left the legendary band P.Mobil and entered Dinamit. A year after Sándor Bencsik "Samu" (lead guitars) and István Cserháty "Pityi" (Hammond organ) left P.Mobil as well and formed a new band named Pandora's Box after the title of a Procol Harum. The

Pythia

Brought together by a love of gothic literature and Metal, PYTHIA are a group of classical and Metal inspired musicians who believe that music is a lifestyle that should be lived only by the brave and true of heart. Lead singer Emily Ovenden is perhaps better known as a member of the No.1 selling classical act the Mediæval Bæbes and Classic FM favourite Celtic Legend. Drummer Marc Dyos and Guitarist Ross White, from one of UK’s foremost Thrash Metal projects Descent, make up the composition team.

Black Light Burns

Black Light Burns is an American / band from California with and aspects, created by Wes Borland. The band's recording lineup consists of Borland himself, along with Danny Lohner (Nine Inch Nails), Josh Eustis (Telefon Tel Aviv), and Josh Freese (The Vandals, A Perfect Circle,Nine Inch Nails,Devo). Their debut album, Cruel Melody, was released in early 2007.

Dead Can Dance

Dead Can Dance is a band formed in Melbourne, Australia in 1981 by Brendan Perry (baritone) together with Simon Monroe and Paul Erikson later to be joined by Lisa Gerrard (contralto). They disbanded in 1998, and temporarily reunited to do a highly successful world tour in 2005 with a view to recording another studio album together. In order to concentrate on their solo careers and due to ongoing personal differences between Perry and Gerrard, the project was, however, put on hiatus.

Rhapsody

There is more than one band by the name Rhapsody: 1) Rhapsody (now known as Rhapsody of Fire) is a band from Italy, but have been "on hold" since 2008. A new album has been announced, "The Frozen Tears of Angels", billed for release in March. They incorporate music, and styles. The classical influences include such composers as Antonio Vivaldi, Johann Sebastian Bach, Niccolò Paganini, and Antonin Dvořák. Their songs are also heavily influenced by power metal in general and their lyrics are fantasy-themed.

Paradise Lost

Paradise Lost - initally one of the premier death/doom bands (along with their former labelmates Anathema and My Dying Bride) that later incorporated electronic elements in their music. They formed in 1988 in Halifax, UK. Along with bands like Dream Death, Sempiternal Deathreign, Asphyx, Winter etc... they are also credited for helping develop the subgenre known as "gothic" metal. Ironically, the band is almost unknown in their home country...

Girl loves dead boys

Girl Loves Dead Boys is Gothic band from California influenced by The Sisters of Mercy, Joy Division, Bauhaus etc. They formed in 2004 and released album Dead Faces White and Alone in 2007. Members:

There is more than One band with this name (1) Raised by a pack of wolves in the slums of Ballarat, Dark Arts are a four piece post-punk band that stupidly write songs about girls. Members:

Oliver Nicholls - Guitar/Percussion
David Kent - Bass Guitar Gabriel's older brother, Galen plays keys in Ballarat band Hunting Grounds (previously Howl).

Xandria

Xandria is a German symphonic metal band that formed in Bielefeld, Germany, in 1994. According to the band, Xandria unifies modern rock with mystic soundscapes into a soundtrack of a different, really characteristic world. In Xandria's world, everyone is allowed to be as vulnerable as strong, to show feelings and to live all beautiful dreams which seem forbidden in the cold reality. "We want to give our audience courage - on their way back to everyday-life - to manage to also there stand for their feelings and to be strong enough to get through all pains and obstacles."
