The Creatures

The Creatures were a musical act formed in 1981 as a side-project for Siouxsie and the Banshees members Siouxsie and Budgie. The Times described their music as "adventurous art rock built around Siouxsie's extraordinary voice and drummer Budgie's battery of percussion". Their music has also been praised by their peers: Jeff Buckley covered live one of their songs Killing Time and PJ Harvey selected their album Anima Animus as one of her favorite albums of year 1999. Edenbridge

Edenbridge is a band from Austria which was founded as a studio-project by guitarist/keyboardist Lanvall, bassist Kurt Bednarsky, and vocalist Sabine Edelsbacher in 1998. With the addition of drummer Roland Navratil the line-up was completed for the production of their debut album Sunrise in Eden. Current members are Sabine Edelsbacher (vocals), Lanvall (guitars, keyboards), Frank Bindig (bass), Dominik Sebastian (guitars), and Max Pointner (drums).

Cauda Pavonis

Heralded as the "UK-Goth-discovery of the new millennium", Cauda Pavonis have gone from strength to strength over the years. The writing duo of Su and Dave Wainwright has created material that has graced television, radio, video, 3 albums, 2 EP's and over 20 compilations. The soaring and powerful voice of Su Wainwright (formerly Farr); driving tribal drumming of her husband Dave, crashing guitar work of Chris Hines and complex, percussive bass work of Rob Quick has forged one of the most unique and distinctive unsigned bands in the UK.

Otep

Otep is a band formed in 2000 in Los Angeles, California by Otep Shamaya. The band originally formed as a four-piece band and were invited to play Ozzfest before they had even signed to a label after Sharon Osbourne witnessed a brief part of their live performance. They've since played Ozzfest several times. Otep have since released five full-length albums featuring many session musicians including Greg Wells, Joey Jordison of Slipknot, Koichi Fukuda of Static-X, Emilie Autumn, Tony Campos of Soulfly and Asesino (ex-Static-X), and Ulrich Wild.

Concrete Blonde

Concrete Blonde is an alternative rock band dating from the early 1980s to the early 1990s (and re-formed again in the 2000s). They are best known for the poignant songwriting and vocals of Johnette Napolitano. Singer / songwriter / bassist Napolitano formed the band Dream 6 with guitarist James Mankey in Los Angeles in 1982, releasing an eponymous EP in France on the Happy Hermit label in 1983. When they signed with IRS in 1986, labelmate Michael Stipe suggested the name Concrete Blonde, describing the contrast between their hard rock music and introspective lyrics.

The Dresden Dolls

The Dresden Dolls are an American musical duo from Boston, Massachusetts, USA. Formed in 2001, the group consists of Amanda Palmer (vocals, piano, ukulele, toy piano, harmonica) and Brian Viglione (drums, percussion, guitar, vocals). They describe their heavily art-damaged and theatrical style as "Brechtian ", a phrase invented by Palmer because she was "terrified" that the press would invent a name that "would involve the word ''," and are part of an underground movement that started gaining momentum in the early 1990s.
