Combine the Victorious
Combine the Victorious is primarily the talents of Mark R Henning and Isabelle Dunlop. From their initial release in 2007 the band has contained several brilliant musicians but remained under the vision of the two founding members. Arctic can refer to two bands. 1. ARCTIC is an electropsych/space-rock band from Vancouver, Canada, formed in 2001.
2. Arctic is a rock band from Brisbane, Australia, formed in 2007. ------------ 1. ARCTIC draws much of its sonic inspiration from the vast expanses of the northern landscape where frontman Marcus Martin was raised. Growing up in Yellowknife, Martin would join his father, a pilot, on trips to remote settlements and camps in the Northwest Territories of Canada.

The Be Good Tanyas are an acoustic trio with folk and americana influences, hailing from Vancouver, British Columbia. Said the Whale
Said The Whale formed in 2007 as a collaboration between songwriters Ben Worcester and Tyler Bancroft. The pair's debut EP, Taking Abalonia, featured sunny west coast indie pop, with breezy harmonies, shimmering guitars, and lyrical tributes to their home city of Vancouver. In 2008, the album was rereleased as Howe Sounds/Talking Abalonia, featuring seven additional tracks that stretched the band's stylistic palate to include bubblegum folk ("The Light Is You"), thundering hard rock ("Last Tree Standing") and gentle ukulele ballads ("The Real of It").
