The Dying Seconds

The Dying Seconds began in 2007 as the recording project of David Cantan and Jack Quilligan. A critically acclaimed, eponymous, debut album under the belt they spent 2008-2009 earning their live spurs gigging around Ireland and the UK, including 5 shows in 2 years at Electric Picnic. Over that time things evolved from a two-men-and-their-laptops situation into a bombastic six-piece with trumpets, strings, synths, singing, guitars of various sorts, and lots of drums! The result is a maelstrom of joyful melancholy.

Lustmord

Brian Williams is a British electronic musician often credited for creating the genre with albums recorded under the name Lustmord. Williams started recording as Lustmord in 1980 before joining SPK in 1982.
Lustmord has extracted field recordings made in crypts, caves, and slaughterhouses, and combined it with occasional ritualistic incantations and Tibetan horns. His treatments of acoustic phenomena encased in digitally expanded bass rumbles have a dark ambient quality.

Casiotone for the Painfully Alone

Casiotone for the Painfully Alone (CFTPA) is the beats-and-keys solo project of singer, songwriter and Chicago resident, Owen Ashworth. Drawing heavy influence from traditional Americana as well as 80's synth pop and commercial hip hop, the music of CFTPA is a curious mix of austere character studies and playful electronic programming. Owen Ashworth started to make music on a small casio keyboard back in 1997.
