Black Rain

For French glam/hard-rock band, see Blackrain. There are at least eight bands with the name Black Rain:

1) Black Rain, the NYC post punk / industrial group began in '89 with Stuart Argabright, Bones, Shin Shimokawa , Thom Furtado and Dave Vulcan, emerging out of the ruins of seminal post-punk outfit Ike Yard. After playing CBGB's, The Bank, Tompkins Square Park show commemorating the Riots there and the last GG Allin show at the Gas Station on LES ( Lungcast cassette ), this phase of the group went on to work in the Studio with Roy Mayorga (Thorn / StoneSour ) on drums and guitar riffage.

There are at least three bands/artists with the name Shed.
(1) A German techno musician,
(2) a lo-fi punk band from Redmond, Washington and
(3) a straight edge death metal band from Lappeenranta. (1) Shed (Rene Pawlowitz), Germany:
You simply cannot pinpoint the moment in history when Techno established itself as a new genre in dance music. Not anymore, anyway. Go ahead and try telling the story “the migration of the bassdrum”.

Pendle Coven

Since their 2003 debut EP, Pendle Coven (Miles Whittaker and Gary Howell) have produced seven exceptional, restless twelves for the Modern Love label, not including work undertaken by one half of the recording duo under the MLZ moniker and a handful of projects produced and delivered under the radar. Typified by an inability to rest on their laurels, Pendle have explored areas of techno and electronic music as diverse as their interests, taking in early-90's style 'ardkore, drone, Basic-Channelisms, Drexciyan electro and warehouse minimalism along the way.

Al Tourettes

Al Tourettes, known to his Mum & Dad as Alec Storey, has been playing drums since he was 9. His father is also a musician, & he started DJ’ing when he was 15, writing music on an Atari 2 years later. He studied Creative Music Technology at Bath Spa University from 2002 - 2005 - incidentally the same course as Appleblim, Gatekeeper and Wedge. Alec had his first release in 2006 on Growth Recordings, with subsequent releases on Birmingham’s KracktroniK Records and Sweden’s Input Output Recordings as well as remixes for Lukes Anger's Bonus Round Records.
