Delano Smith was one of the first ‘mobile DJs’ in a city that embraced DJ culture early on, before Music Stores sold more turntables than guitars. Emerging as one of the top progressive DJs in Detroit during the 80s, alongside the legendary Ken Collier (RIP), Smith mastered the art form while playing the underground and club parties that set the stage for today’s global party circuit. After taking time off from Djing in the 90s to pursue personal interests, Smith began playing events again after receiving numerous requests from promoters.

There are at least 3 bands/artists with the name Optic: 1) Optic is a Melbourne based musically adventurous band which explores a range of rock and metal sounds with female lead vocals, and members hailing from diverse musical background in classical training, musical theatre and more, the band has been fine tuning its dark and vibrant sound for over 5 years. Initially using the name Lucid Falls, the band played the local Melbourne scene during 2004 and 2005, before withdrawing in 2006 to undergo some creative changes.

International DJ, producer and founding spirit of Amsterdam imprint Intacto Records – Shinedoe’s unique vision of electronic dance music, combined with her talent, dynamism and pioneering spirit have acted as a springboard, propelling her to the forefront of house and techno global club scenes. Living in Amsterdam with strong Nigerian ties, Shinedoe’s love of music and passion for dance provided the only fuel she needed to start experimenting with mixes in the early nineties.
