Lil' Louis

Lil Louis is the stage name used by Chicago-born house music producer and DJ Louis Burns. He scored a number of hits on the Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart in the eighties and nineties, three of which hit #1.
His best known song, "French Kiss," featured vocals by Shawn Christopher and spent two weeks at #1 on the dance chart in 1989. The house track (now considered a classic) features a several-minutes-long breakdown in which the music gradually slowed down in tempo to a complete stop and left nothing but orgasmic moaning from Ms.

Chicago born and bred Melvin Oliphant aka Traxx is known for constructing the "jakbeat" sound -- "a turbo-charged take on old school acid and Chicago house for the '00s put together with the unmistakeable tones of classic analogue gear such as the TR-909, TR-808, and, of course, the TB-303". Hailing from Manchester in the north of England, David James Wolstencroft aka Trus’me, grew up surrounded by the city’s rich musical heritage. As a DJ he plays with diversity, a style that comes across in his production work. Giles Peterson chose the track Nards on his "Best of 2007". Giles said of the record: "If there was ever a house record made for me, it would sound like this." In 2008 the Prime Numbers imprint launched in collaboration with Fat City Recordings, providing an outlet for Trus’me and other likeminded artists.

Martin Landsky

Being a hobby break-dancer back in the days was the first step for eleven year-old Martin Landsky to discover his passion for black dance music. Using the pause-key of his tape deck he started to create minimal loop tracks of early funk and rap classics for his performances on the street as well as in contests. His interest in manipulating sound was unstoppable. Young Martin Landsky spent all his money to buy a second tape deck and a primitive mixer.

Dixon is either a DJ/producer Steffen "Dixon" Berkhahn or a British band formed by Adam Rogers in 1989. Steffen Berkhahn has recorded under the aliases Dixon and Wahoo. More information: http://www.sonarkollektiv.com/artists/Dixon The band Dixon are known for their unusual style of music, or as they like to call it; "Arabian Grunge Surfmetal". Their first singer, Steve Birby O'donnel was fired from the band when Berry Mouse, Musk fifth street's former singer, showed his intrest in joining Dixon.
