Cue Fanfare

Not only just a Prefab Sprout song any more, Cue Fanfare is one of the finest band from Bristol you can meet on your music player. Balanced between new wave and sophisti-pop, the band of Rowena Dugdale introduces itself to our little kingdom and fans. Rowena and the talented guitarist Rob Williams carries on a musical journey interrupted with their previous band Santa Dog, a little cult on the indie tribe thanks to their album Kittyhawk.

Babel

Babel like "Bay-bull". Not "bar-bell" or "babble", were born in Bristol in the UK. Babel "started out all kind of small, folky & a bit shy, but then fell in dirty love with pounding tamborines and volume knobs." Songs led to concerts, concerts led to the recording two self-financed EPs, 'The Golden Acre EP' & 'The Arc EP'. Both were sold from tables in tiny venues. Some of which reached places far beyond their own postcode. In 2007, People Tree Records of London, UK released the majority of their two EPs to the world on one reasonably priced compact disc & weighty slab of vinyl.

Rachael Dadd

Whether it be by handing out cake or percussive pots of rice to shake, Rachael puts her audience at ease - she's had plenty of practice, having toured England and Japan numerous times, and played festival slots since 2001 including an appearance on Glastonbury’s Acoustic Stage with one of her collaborative projects, Whalebone Polly (with Kate Stables of This is the Kit). She enjoys performing in intimate settings the most, but can adapt well, having proved this when she performed a series of shows in Japan, each to an audience of 3000.
