The Black Sorrows

The Black Sorrows is a blues-oriented Australian rock band that carries strong influences from zydeco, country and hillbilly music. The band formed in 1983 around singer-songwriter Joe Camilleri in the wake of his principal band Jo Jo Zep and the Falcons dissolution. The band has played host to a revolving lineup of musicians with Camilleri the only constant. The band initially played covers until producing originals, some of which saw moderate Top 40 success during the 80s and 90s ("Chained to the Wheel, Hold on to Me.

The Rockingbirds (singer/songwriter Alan Tyler, singer/tambourine player Sean Reed, guitarist Andy Hackett, pedal steel guitarist Patrick Arbuthnot, bassist Dave Goulding and former Weather Prophets drummer Dave Morgan) were a British country-rock band formed in Camden, London in 1990. They released two albums and batch of singles during their brief career.

Groove is the band that Chris Wade brought with him to Richmond, VA that featured the tried and true ensemble of musicians from the bands Device and Rebound. the post-punk guitar style (that Chris learned from Gut Rochelle) and the emo sensibilties of this band combined with the freight train rhythm section and scene popularity of Hgual would create Hose.Got.Cable right after this bands demise. They have released two 7" records:

There is more than one artist with this name: 1) Arizona was an indie rock band formed in Brooklyn, NY. The band is currently on indefinite hiatus. The members are now working on other projects, including Wages (www.wageswages.com) and New Beard (www.newbeardcity.com). Arizona first formed as a three piece in 2005 when founding members Ben Wigler, Nick Campbell, and Alex Hornbake recorded debut EP "The Sun and The Room" which had artwork contributed by Brooklyn artist Deems (www.inaspoon.com).
